Job Description
This individual acts as a team lead, overseeing clerical, support, analysis, and research tasks, and reviews reports compiled for Planning. Based on properly authorized customer demand, analyze materials and capacity requirements and communicate constraints to the concerned teams.
The role involves coordinating the daily activities of the team and responsibilities such as attendance/vacation scheduling, claims, training, coaching, development, and interviews.
- Analyze materials and capacity requirements based on authorized customer demand and communicate constraints to the Operations manager and Sales team.
- Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinate work activities with other supervisors.
- Coordinate the business planning process (S&OP) involving all business functions (Sales, Customer Service, Product Development, Production, Warehouse & Shipping, Finance) to ensure excellent customer service at optimized cost.
- Be primarily responsible for capacity planning for the designated product line, coordinating with operations to develop supply strategies that improve service and reduce costs.
- Work with regional Supply Chain Planning teams and country Demand Planning contacts to capture and aggregate demand information from commercial organizations.
- Monitor actual performance vs. objectives via weekly/monthly reports, perform gap analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Initiate and coordinate special Lean, Sigma, and Kaizen projects (e.g., Inventory Reduction, Vendor Managed Inventory) in the designated product line(s).
Qualifications
Experience in the printing manufacturing industry is advantageous. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Production, Logistics, Business, or related fields. 4+ years of experience in SML or related areas.
Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred, especially within the printing industry.
Knowledge of products or processes such as Offset, PFL, RFID, Flexo, and Thermal is preferred.
Proficient understanding of supply chain, materials management, and logistics concepts and practices.
Excellent analytical skills.
Green Belt or ELS certification is preferred.

Experience in the Printing Manufacturing Industry is an advantage. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Production, Logistics, Business, or related field. 4+ years of SML or related experience.
Supervisory or Lead experience is preferred, particularly within the printing industry.
Product or production process knowledge in Offset, PFL, RFID, Flexo, and Thermal is preferred.
