Role Purpose:We are seeking an experienced and strategic Technical Architect to lead the technical design and implementation of a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA program deployed on Microsoft Azure Cloud. As a key member of our enterprise transformation team, you will architect a secure, scalable, and high-performance SAP landscape that leverages Azure’s capabilities, driving innovation and agility across the organization.
Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Lead the end-to-end technical architecture design and strategy for SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation.
Define target technical architecture including on-premise, cloud, or hybrid deployment models.
Establish technical standards, frameworks, and design patterns across the SAP landscape.
Oversee system landscape design including sizing, scalability, performance, high availability, and disaster recovery.
Collaborate with BASIS and infrastructure teams for SAP system provisioning, environment setup, and technical operations.
Drive integration strategy with legacy systems and third-party applications using SAP BTP, PI/PO, or other middleware.
Provide guidance on data migration architecture and tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, SAP Migration Cockpit).
Define security architecture in coordination with GRC and cybersecurity teams.
Act as the primary technical escalation point across streams for architecture-related decisions.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and IT governance policies.
Support testing, cutover planning, and production readiness from a technical standpoint.
Participate in vendor and product evaluations for technical components and tools.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 10+ years of SAP technical experience, including at least 3+ years in a Technical Architect role.
Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations in large enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of SAP architecture including S/4HANA Core, Fiori, SAP BTP, and Integration Suite.
Deep knowledge of system integration, infrastructure, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and SAP on HANA.
Experience with technical migration, system conversions, and custom code remediation strategies.
Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and stakeholder management.
