Design Manager (Scada Systems)
Dubai, UAE
Parsons is looking for a Design Manager to join our team! In this role, you'll get to manage the design delivery of major SCADA projects for water networks, rail systems, and ITS work.
What You'll Be Doing:
Review and approve discipline staffing budget estimates and assignment schedules for each project.
Maintain appropriate staffing levels, including temporary personnel as required, and review and approve staff forecasting reports.
Oversee all engineering and design efforts across all disciplines for major programs, if assigned.
Coordinate discipline-specific staffing requirements for the program.
Monitor the quality and progress of discipline-related work on each project, ensuring production requirements are met.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers to address and resolve any current or anticipated issues related to discipline staffing, work quality, schedule adherence, or productivity.
Develop and implement standards and procedures manuals for the discipline.
Recommend improvements to departmental procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Support pre-contract and business development activities as needed, serving as a technical consultant.
Ensure discipline performance remains within authorized overhead budgets.
Actively participate in and promote the Quality Improvement Program.
Lead or participate in discipline-specific committees, fostering motivation and education among assigned personnel.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized university.
A minimum of 15 years of experience in design delivery and construction supervision

- Knowledge of GEGA products and systems, especially automation.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- No travel restrictions.
