Job Summary.

To oversee, optimize, and ensure the effective utilization and management of NOV Downhole assets across all Eastern Hemisphere (EH) districts. The role focuses on accurate asset tracking through ERP systems, ensuring data integrity, maximizing utilization, and aligning asset availability with operational demand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Downhole Asset Management and Utilization

  • Monitor, analyze and improve the utilization of NOV Downhole assets across all Eastern Hemisphere districts to ensure optimal deployment.
  • Reallocate underutilized Downhole tools and equipment to regions with higher demand to support operational efficiency.
  • Identify idle or redundant Downhole assets and recommend redeployment, sale, or retirement strategies.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve asset rationalization.


ERP System Management and Data Integrity

  • Ensure all EH districts effectively use ERP systems (TAT and JDE) for tracking and managing Downhole assets.
  • Regularly audit system data to verify the accuracy of asset status, location, and ownership within the systems.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to district personnel to maintain data integrity and compliance with standard processes.
  • Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to identify and correct data or system discrepancies promptly.
  • Monitor and follow up on open assets requests and capital expenditures.


Asset Planning and Forecasting

  • Coordinate with operations, sales, and planning teams to forecast Downhole asset requirements based on business activity and regional demand.
  • Maintain visibility on asset availability to ensure adequate coverage for upcoming jobs and projects.
  • Support capital expenditure planning by identifying needs for new asset assets, refurbishments, or replacements.


Coordination and Communication

  • Work closely with district managers, maintenance teams, and logistics personnel to align on Downhole asset movements, availability, and utilization priorities.
  • Communicate regularly with Eastern Hemisphere leadership on asset performance, utilization trends, and ERP compliance.


Compliance, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure all EH districts adhere to NOV Downhole policies and procedures regarding asset control, documentation, and tracking.
  • Generate and review asset reports (e.g., physical count progress, utilization, movement, availability, and aging) for management review and decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset visibility, reduce idle time, and improve system data accuracy.
  • Support internal and external audits related to Downhole asset management and ERP system usage.


EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • More than 10 years of Oil and Gas drilling experience, at least 3 years in asset management roles.
  • Operational Knowledge of Downhole tools


Desirable:

  • 15 years of oil and gas experience, 5 years in asset management roles.

Looking for Senior Process Engineer with 10 to 15 years in oil and gas Industry, fluent in process designs, process software and having site experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and collaborate with process lead/Discipline manager to determine project objective for the process team within the project.
  • Provide appropriate process engineering input to design activities undertaken by other inter-discipline engineering within the project team.
  • Interface with other disciplines, and with vendors, and required parties with process engineering
  • Ensure that the deliverables provided to the project are technically accurate, within the scope, budget and schedule, and in compliance with quality procedures and project plans
