Job Description
Working at International Community Schools isn’t just another gig—it’s where teachers, counselors, and school staff actually shape kids into global citizens instead of just shuffling them from one grade to the next. ICS is all about mixing things up, too: a bunch of different cultures, international curricula, and a vibe that’s a whole lot more “let’s learn together” than “read this and memorize it.” Not your average chalk-and-talk.
Soif you’re a teacher or support staff looking for a place that gives a damn about your growth (hello, real training and chances to move up), you might want to check out what’s open at ICS right now. They want people who care—like, genuinely care—about education and making a dent in the world, not just clocking in and out.
Here’s what they’re hunting for at the moment:1) Biology
2) Chemistry
3) Physics
4) Mathematics
– A Bachelor’s in your subject (no, your cousin’s biology notes don’t count)
– Teaching diploma or something similar
– Been around UAE classrooms before? Big plus.
– Living in the UAE already? Also a plus.
– English that doesn’t make people wince
– You can keep a classroom under control without screaming your lungs out
If you tick those boxes and want to work somewhere that doesn’t treat you like a cog in the machine, hit them up. Why not? Worst case, you don’t get the job. Best case, you end up somewhere that actually gets it.
