Job Description

Lead and manage security design consulting engagements to a professional standard; independently and/or in support of other senior colleagues, and the Director.

Be a subject Matter Expert of electronic security systems and manage security design and installation projects from conception to completion.

Maintain client and company deliverables, ensuring high quality, and that budgets and programs are met and maintained.

Develop and build new and existing client relationships, facilitating the introduction and provision of additional Control Risks services where appropriate.

Role tasks and responsibilitiesConsulting:
  • Undertake technical security reviews, audits, design surveys, installation inspections, approvals, and similar tasks, working at client sites and in the office.
  • Design physical and electronic security systems in conjunction with specialist engineers within project design teams.
Task management:
  • Act as the lead consultant on assignments, owning problems and providing solutions at the local level.
  • Lead and participate in client and project meetings.
  • Ensure practices, policies, strategy, and services align with the client's best interests.
  • Maintain and develop long-term client relationships; work with key account managers.
  • Maintain accurate time and expense records for invoicing.
Task delivery:
  • Deliver tasks on time, within budget, and to high standards.
  • Collaborate with the team and leverage their experience and opinions.
  • Travel may be involved to client sites and offices within the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.
Business development:
  • Proactively seek project and business development opportunities.
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to marketing and profile-raising events.
  • Develop long-term client relationships.
Team/practice development:
  • Provide expert knowledge of security consulting and other Control Risks service lines.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Proven experience in security integration, design, consulting, or engineering, especially in electronic and physical security systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of CCTV, access control, and other security technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and explain complex concepts.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPP or PSP are highly desirable.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in design and project management.
Essential skills
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise electronic security solutions.
  • Ability to manage and deliver technical consulting engagements.
  • Knowledge of standards and practices for security installations.
  • Project management experience in security consulting and installations.

  • 3+ years of experience in Cloud Security Engineering, with at least 1 year focused on Azure Security.

  • Strong expertise in IAM, RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust security models.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates) for security automation.
  • Experience working with SIEM, SOAR, and security operations (SOC) tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking for security challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with Cloud, DevOps, and Compliance teams.
