We are seeking an experienced sales professional to sell our IGA Solution Suite to $2-$5B organizations. The ideal candidate will have experience in navigating multinational accounts, generally at C-level. They will use their previous experience in SaaS, cyber-security, or IAM/IGA to negotiate high-value contracts across lengthy sales cycles.
The successful candidate will engage with approximately 30 target customers, leveraging Challenger sales methodology. They will develop strategies to approach 'A' accounts, presenting them to management and ensuring they understand financial terms and how we measure financial success.
Additionally, they will familiarize themselves with SailPoint's language of acronyms and technical terms, actively participating in meetings. They will ask their manager to share strategic objectives and team goals, ensuring they understand their role in achieving company objectives.
The path to success includes establishing an internal network, leading interlock meetings with virtual teams, and scheduling weekly 1:1 meetings with their manager. They will also ensure they have a buddy assigned and meet with them regularly.
In the first month, the candidate should achieve milestones such as demonstrating understanding of financial terms and language of acronyms. By the end of the second month, they should have sorted TAM accounts into sales priority order, reset/cleaned pipeline, and developed a territory plan.
By the end of the third month, they should have implemented an operating cadence with virtual teams, developed strategies to approach 'A' accounts, and achieved the '1st Mate' enablement badge. By the end of the fourth month, they should have created account plans for all 'A' accounts, presented forecast for self-generated opportunities, and shown progress through sales stages.
On completing the first six months, the candidate should have achieved strong correlation between engagement rate and all 'A' accounts, achieved the 'Captain' enablement badge, and demonstrated proficiency in selling our IGA Solution Suite.
- Required Skills: Experience in navigating multinational accounts, Challenger sales methodology, negotiation skills, ability to understand financial terms and language of acronyms.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in an IT, business, or sales-related field.
