Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team in El-Fujairah, UAE. As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our company's premises and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Security Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and surveillance systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Physically fit to handle potential security situations if needed (e.g. lifting, running)
- Available for full time work with flexible hours if needed
- Willingness to work in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English is preferred
- Visa sponsorship will be provided for suitable candidates

Job Title: Security Specialist (Egyptian National)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team in El-Fujairah, UAE. This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available for the right candidate. Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, however, preference will be given to Egyptian nationals.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop effective solutions
- Monitor and analyze security systems, such as CCTV cameras and access control systems, to ensure they are functioning properly
- Implement security protocols and procedures to protect company assets and personnel
- Train employees on security best practices and emergency response procedures
- Investigate any security incidents or breaches and provide timely reports to management
- Collaborate with external agencies, such as law enforcement, for emergency situations or investigations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in the security industry

Job Overview:

• Patrols assigned areas, checking for fires, vandalism, suspicious activity or persons or safety/fire hazards.
• Investigates and/or reports hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances to the authorities for correction or follow-up actions; maintains contact with law enforcement agencies. Answers alarms and investigates disturbances.
• Checks doors and windows of buildings to ensure they are tightly closed and locked; notes in a written log any unlocked doors/windows; submits information to supervisors.
• Assists any individuals in need of directions.
• Escorts visitors to desired destinations after securing necessary approval from concerned supervisors.
• Responds to alarms and dispatched calls; decides what actions to take based on situation, facts known and position limitations.
• Unlocks buildings/doors after checking identification and compliance with company policies.
• May assist law enforcement officers with crowd control and surveillance at large events.
• Takes telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when the switchboard is closed.
• Warns individuals of rule infractions or violations, and apprehends or evicts violators from premises, using force when necessary.
• Operates detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Maintains confidentiality and loyalty in favor of the organization.
• Ensures cooperation in the event that overtime duty is required. Shall work on Fridays/Holidays if needed.
• Covers additional job functions as required.
• Coordinates with Law Enforcement or Civil Defense in cases of emergency or intrusion of unauthorized persons or in cases that fighting incidents are beyond their jurisdiction or control.
• Inspects and adjusts security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.
• Coordinates with relevant departments related to arriving employees with respect to their assigned rooms and checks the room and organization belongings during the end of tenure of each employee.
• Conducts preemptive fire evacuation plans and allocates assembly points whenever an emergency situation arises.
• Monitors employees in timekeeping in order coinciding with proper attendance.
• Logs daily complaints or irregularities such as theft, damaged property, intrusion of unauthorized persons, and unusual occurrences and reports this to the concerned department or entity to instigate proper evaluation of the case.
• Monitors CCTV systems to check the premises in all angles to ensure that areas are under control.
• Monitors carpentry work (counts the number of pallets).
• Supervises training of new Security Guards and arranges work schedules to recover and evaluate the shortage of manpower.
• Communicates with Municipality trucks to collect and remove garbage and sewerage.
• Drives company vehicles in high emergency situations with the permission of senior management or HR Officers.
• Sends email reports to HR and IT Departments for employees who have lost ID cards, forgotten ID cards, and report of overtime attendance of Majan 2 workers who have worked in Majan 1.
• Maintains relevant education and experience.
• Holds Trade Certificates relevant to the post or any certification equivalent to it.
• Attended didactic training in security principles, basic first aid, and firefighting.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
