Sales Executive – Security Systems & IT Solutions (Entry-Level Opportunity)

What You'll Do:

Who We're Looking For:
  • 0–4 years of sales experience (UAE/GCC experience is a plus but not mandatory).
  • Fresh graduates with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with 4+ years of relevant experience (Security/IT/ELV sales) may qualify for the higher salary bracket (AED 6,000).
  • Self-motivated, persuasive, and eager to learn.
  • Strong negotiation skills (English fluency required).
  • UAE driving license is a plus.

Our client is seeking a Sales Account Manager to be based in Dubai. They are a well-established IT systems integrator specializing in physical security solutions and have been serving the UAE market for many years.

Summary/Objective

The Sales Account Manager executes sales strategy, initiates contact with existing and potential customers, identifies needs and sells appropriate merchandise to meet those needs. The person in this position also identifies new prospects and manages the sales cycle according to agreed-upon timetables, brings profitable revenues from products, projects, and services sales, and identifies the resources, components, and equipment needed to implement a sale. The Sales Account Manager is also strict on timely execution of sales contracts.

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering/IT related Field
  • Must have 4-8 years of relevant sales experience within an IT System integrator selling Integrated physical security solutions (possibly CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, etc.) across customers in UAE.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and proven sales track record
  • Arabic speaker will be preferred however not mandatory

Tasks

  • Manage assigned accounts.
  • Calls prospective customers and establishes buying cycles, customer needs, and creates a customer-supplier relationship.
  • Increases sales in respective accounts.
  • Prepares sales information for customers.
  • Establishes buying influences, budgets and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts.
  • Visits clients and prospects in order to present Companies Security Systems product portfolio.
  • Produces and provides presentations to clients and prospects on the product portfolio, company profile, executive overviews etc. as part of the contract management process.
  • Generates proposals, maintenance contracts and sales contracts for clients and prospects.
  • Builds project sales content and sales cycle plans in order to prepare, report progress and manages the sales cycle of contracts.
  • Identifies all resources needed to implement sales. Issues internal requests for components, software, parts and equipment needed as part of sales. Identifies staff qualified to implement a sale and assign agendas to the project.
  • Prepares a profit report for every contract submitted to the Sales Director for acceptance.
  • Report all client contacts in the CRM System of PSS not later than 1 working day of contact.
  • Inform the sales administrator one day ahead of time on the planned visits to be made.
  • Attend staff meetings during which current activities must be reported.
  • Generate visit reports within 1 working day from date of visit.
  • Generate new clients.
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
  • Reviews the status reports of team members and addresses issues as appropriate.
  • Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures.

  • Achieve sale target set by management.
  • Ensure that the overall net profit margin is achieved.
  • Ensure that within one month 50% of the contracts will advance at least one step in the process. Process steps are identified as the following:
