Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and hand-over of Security Systems projects.
The ideal candidate will ensure that all required infrastructure needs are available and ready, covering Networking, CCTV, ACS, IDS, and power requirements to guarantee smooth operations of all systems on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor fault logs daily and perform immediate fault identification.
- Liaise with stakeholders (Client, IT, FM, AP, Site Resources, MVP) to ensure fault rectification.
- Analyze root causes of faults and report findings.
- Identify recurring issues, recommend remedial actions, and ensure they are performed during PPMs or Call-Outs.
- Record all faults, PPMs, and Call-Outs.
- Ensure all existing systems are properly connected to the relevant Control Room / Security Office.
- Maintain System SUPs, ensuring firmware, security patches, etc., are applied, and configurations are uniformly applied across the portfolio.
- Manage end-user passwords and security protocols as agreed with clients.
- Advise clients on enhancements and additional functionality offered by new firmware upgrades.
- Provide end-user refresher training if requested/required by clients.
- Maintain and administer security systems networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
- Implement network security measures as per IT standards and procedures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Operate master consoles to monitor system performance and coordinate system network access and use.
- Perform routine system network startup and shutdown procedures and maintain control records.
- Monitor system performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made and to identify areas where changes will be needed in the future.
- Maintain logs related to system network functions and maintenance and repair records.
- Communicate with technicians during PPMs and Call-Outs.
- Oversee implementation at site, manage technicians, and collect daily progress reports sketched on shop drawings issued to senior technicians.
- Create test reports based on cabling, terminations, power management, and shop drawing updates based on site amendments and inspections.
- Complete service reports for current jobs, additional work, variations, and troubleshooting on hardware and software.
- Oversee emergency breakdowns rectification and intervention.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics or Electronics and Telecommunication or a general IT degree with Physics Background.
- Certifications in Cisco CCNA, CCNP, BCNE, CCTV, ACS, Biometrics, Barriers, Bollards, Road blocker, Spike bumps, ANPR, video analytics, etc.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in all security systems disciplines on total or turn-around projects.

The Project Manager – Security Systems is a key role directly reporting to Senior Project Manager -GCC region. You will be based in Abu Dhabi and will be a part of a growing team and be responsible for driving the growth of business for Security Systems.
You will be managing the project management team on designing and execution of projects. You will need to monitor the assigned engineering projects, QA/QC policies, performance standards, specifications and will interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
How you will do it
As an experienced Project Manager, you should have expertise in project executions and complex knowledge of designing of security systems solutions involving Access control/CCTV, Data LAN, PAVA and other LV systems) in the Middle East region. You have to;
- Initiate and respond to contractual issues throughout contract & Project phase.
- Monitor project progress and prepare project progress reports and represent company in client project, quality and HSE meetings.
- Responsible for formal (letter)/ informal (verbal) communication with client and for invoicing processing and collection of payments from clients.
- Prepare technical submittals and submit to clients and Responsible for production and issuance of design drawings/ calculation.
- Prepare and comply with project quality plan and Inspection & test plans and ensure full compliance of project with specification and client requirement.

- To ensure non-conformities in materials/ products are dealt in accordance with applicable management system procedure and appropriate corrective and preventive actions taken to prevent recurrence/ occurrence of non-conformities.
- To ensure needed inspections and test of products are performed, inspection & test records maintained, prior to products handover to customers.
