Job Description

Your mission

We are looking for a smart, resourceful, and tech-savvy Associate Commercial Manager to drive customer( suppliers & restaurants) acquisition, AI solution matching, and long-term commercial success for Kaso’s tech-enabled offerings. This role is designed for someone who deeply understands supplier pain points, can think commercially, and is excited about using technology (AI, data, automation) to solve real operational challenges. The ideal candidate is not a traditional salesperson. Instead, we want a commercially driven problem solver who’s worked with multiple customers across the foodservice or FMCG industries and is still curious, hungry, and open-minded enough to help redefine how things are done. Key Responsibilities Customers( suppliers/restaurants) Targeting & Commercial Discovery

  • Identify and prioritize customer segments across the UAE market based on opportunity sizing and readiness for tech adoption.

  • Bring “out of the box” ideas and solutions that will help customers improve their day to day operations.

  • Lead deep discovery sessions to understand customer operational gaps and sales friction points.

  • Proactively match customer needs with Kaso’s suite of solutions for example (Order App, Sales AI, Smart Catalog, etc.).

Solution Scoping & Tech Integration
  • Collaborate with internal product/tech teams to scope solution fit and feasibility.

  • Translate commercial needs into product briefs or custom solution offerings.

  • Educate customers on how AI, automation, and digital tools can unlock commercial value.

Commercial Negotiation & Contracting
  • Build compelling commercial proposals that align mutual incentives.

  • Own the pricing discussion, annual agreement locking, and revenue share model negotiations.

  • Close customer contracts with a focus on long-term monetization potential.

Supplier Relationship Management
  • Act as the go-to commercial contact for assigned customers post-deal closure.

  • Regularly monitor customer performance and tech adoption; flag risks or opportunities.

  • Liaise with customer success, operations, and tech teams to ensure solution success.

Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Analyze customer sales trends, engagement metrics, and platform performance using data-driven insights.

  • Deliver recurring performance reports with actionable recommendations for improvement.

  • Collaborate with customer commercial and marketing teams to align initiatives with broader business goals.

Stakeholder Coordination
  • Serve as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders across all supplier projects.

  • Facilitate strategic check-ins, operational syncs, and joint planning discussions to ensure alignment.

Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.

  • 4–7 years of experience in supplier-facing roles (commercial, category, procurement, trade marketing), ideally in foodservice, FMCG, or digital platforms.

  • Strong commercial acumen with a consultative approach—able to think both strategically and tactically.

  • Demonstrated experience working with multiple suppliers and managing complex relationships.

  • Tech-curious with an interest in AI, automation, and SaaS platforms.

  • Fluent in English; additional fluency in Urdu/Hindi or another South Asian language is a strong advantage.

Preferred Attributes:
  • Not “just a salesperson”—you’re a solution-finder who thinks like a builder.

  • Believes in doing things differently and using technology to challenge legacy models.

  • Smart, hardworking, and able to push through ambiguity to get results.

  • Collaborative team player, but also highly independent and self-motivated.

Why us?

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a category-defining company at the intersection of foodservice and technology. You'll work directly with senior leadership, shape how suppliers adopt digital tools, and help unlock millions in ARR. If you’re excited about being part of something disruptive—and you have the grit and smarts to back it up—we’d love to meet you.
