The candidate is responsible for the teaching of cybersecurity units in line with the academic standards offered across foundation to postgraduate courses at Curtin Dubai. The candidate is expected to have an approach to teaching that is student-centred and will be responsible for conducting tutorials, grading and other immersive learning experiences in accordance with established course outlines and lesson plans, besides maintaining student class attendance records and being available during student consultation hours. RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching and Learning:
• Review and contextualise teaching resource received from Perth.
• Deliver lectures, seminars, tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, and field excursions.
• Administer and grade exams, quizzes, assignments, and projects.
• Work closely with the Unit Coordinators in Perth and Head of School in Dubai to ensure cohesive unit delivery and alignment with overall program objectives.
• Participate in regular meetings and discussions with the Unit Coordinator in Perth and Head of School in Dubai to review unit content, teaching strategies, and unit deliverables.
• Ability to integrate real-world case studies and industry insights into the curriculum.
• Be available to meet with students during published office hours for additional support and guidance and provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve.
• Implement diverse teaching methods to enhance student learning.

• An earned PhD in a relevant field. • One or more of the following certifications: o System Defense: at least one of GCWN, GCUX or CREST.
o Traffic Analysis: GCIH, GCIA or FOR572.
o Penetration Testing: GPEN, GWAPT, OSCP or CREST.
o OPSEC Certification.
o CCAI Certified (desirable). • Exposure to open-source solutions such as Security Onion or OSSEC.
• A solid understanding of ISO27000 Information Security Standard and NIST’s Cyber Security Framework and other Cyber Security Standards.
• Practical experience of Penetration Testing.
