About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing security and loss prevention operations on a daily basis. This includes protecting property assets, employees, guests, and preventing accidents and fires. The role also involves maintaining logs, certifications, and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures.

Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should have a high school diploma or GED, along with 4 years of experience in security or a related field. Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Criminal Justice or a related major, along with 2 years of experience is also acceptable.

Main Responsibilities

• Managing Security/Loss Prevention Operations: Assist in developing and implementing emergency procedures, conduct investigations of losses, deploy security staff, comply with Corporate Loss Prevention guidelines, and conduct regular patrols.
• Leading Security/Loss Prevention Teams: Lead teams to ensure exceptional customer service, celebrate successes, communicate safety procedures, identify developmental needs, provide guidance and direction, and serve as a role model.
• Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service: Empower employees to provide excellent customer service, meet quality standards, incorporate guest safety and satisfaction into departmental meetings, and strive for continuous improvement.
• Conducting Human Resources Activities: Minimize cost of accident claims, complete proper documentation, conduct employee performance appraisals, administer property policies fairly, and handle guest problems and complaints.

The Security Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of guests, colleagues, and assets at our hotel. This includes:

• Briefing senior security officers and security officers on the security plan, including incident response mechanisms and escalation procedures.
• Manning roster management to ensure all positions are covered on a daily basis.
• Delivering and implementing security training to security officers to meet agreed guidelines.
• Arranging shifts, weekly offs, leaves, and other personnel-related tasks for security officers.
• Completing logbooks, following up on outstanding matters, investigating incidents, and handing over as required.
• Investigating major complaints and reporting to the Head of Security & Assistant Security Manager.
• Maintaining written logs of untoward incidents or accidents.
• Managing and updating the incident reporting system, ensuring relevant information is passed on to relevant departments and individuals.
• Escalating incidents to the Head of Security/Assistant Security Manager that require further action in a timely manner.
• Keeping the Head of Security & Assistant Security Manager informed of untoward incidents or accidents.
• Regularly patrolling duty posts with security officers and signing relevant logs as required.
• Conducting regular fire patrols, including construction and refurbishment areas, to ensure compliance by contractors and colleagues, and reporting any irregularities.
• Identifying security/fire hazards during regular patrols.
• Establishing, monitoring, and implementing policies and procedures to identify, prioritize, and resolve security problems, ensuring remote monitoring systems operate efficiently.
• Responding to emergency incidents and reporting back details to senior management. Managing the security response team in case of an event developing into an emergency or crisis.
• Contacting local fire, police, or emergency services for assistance in response to emergency needs.
• Handling lost & found inquiries efficiently and correctly, returning claimed property promptly in accordance with the lost & found process.
• Promoting and maintaining high levels of security associate performance, morale, and loss prevention awareness.
• Conducting daily shift briefings for security officers and assigning specific tasks.
• Maintaining and monitoring the CCTV system.
• Overseeing visitor management during regular duty hours.
• Defusing potentially hostile situations.
• Rapidly escalating intrusions or other security concerns to Security management.
• Maintaining inventory of access control and CCTV supplies.
• Responding to alarms, dispatch calls, and documenting accordingly.
• Maintaining the access control system and issuing employee I.D.
• Conducting department equipment checks (Hand Wands, radios, CCTV, etc.).
• Conducting safety inspections in assigned areas and maintaining awareness of safety deficiencies while on duty.
• Assisting Operations management staff on event setup as needed.

• A valid Security license holder and CCTV operator license.
• Minimum 5-year experience in security guarding/officer roles or 2-year Senior Security Officer/Asst or Team Leader experience.
• Minimum 1-year experience in Hospitality security or police or military background.
• Strong command of verbal and written English language skills. Additional foreign languages may be advantageous.
• Familiarity with firefighting equipment and first aid/CPR certification.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications.
• Knowledge of handling emergency situations and evacuation protocols.
• Ability to embody the company's core values.
• Capacity to work effectively in various environmental conditions, including internal and external settings.

• 7-10 years of experience in Information Security or a related field.
• Strong Operations knowledge within the banking sector, with hands-on experience in implementing and managing IS applications such as EDR, SIEM, DLP.
• Network-related experience with a background in Computer Science, Network, or Cyber Security, along with relevant certifications.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Information Security Manager at Papel is a critical role responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's information security program, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our digital assets. This role encompasses the implementation and management of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance, penetration testing, and other relevant security measures / controls. The ISM will work closely with various departments and stakeholders to develop and maintain a robust cybersecurity posture that aligns with Papel's business objectives and risk appetite.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive information security program, including policies, procedures, and controls, to protect the company's assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Manage the implementation and maintenance of PCI DSS compliance, ensuring the company meets all relevant requirements and undergoes regular audits
• Implement and adhere to ISO 27001 standards
• Oversee and coordinate penetration testing activities, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security incident response, to identify and remediate potential security risks
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to assess and address information security risks, ensuring that risk mitigation measures are in line with business objectives and risk appetite
• Monitor and analyse emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, recommending and implementing appropriate countermeasures to protect the company's assets
• Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness and training programs to educate employees on the importance of information security and their role in maintaining a secure environment
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring that information security requirements are effectively communicated and integrated into third-party contracts and agreements
• Work with other stakeholders such as technical architects, product managers, developers to implement, configure or maintain security measures / controls
• Work closely with the CTO to continuously improve cyber security policies, processes, tools and controls

Requirements

• 7+ years information and cyber security experience in financial services. Fintech experience is a major plus
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards governing the fintech, digital assets and global payment industry
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in a start-up, digital assets or fintech company.

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the operation and maintenance of our security systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all systems on site, including networking, CCTV, ACS, IDS, and power requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor fault logs and perform immediate fault identification
• Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure fault rectification
• Perform root cause analysis and reporting
• Identify recurring issues and recommend remedial actions
