Responsibilities- Operational Support: Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, permissions, and collaboration tools

**Essential Responsibilities:**
The Contractor shall perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) support for Automated Fuel Handling Equipment (AFHE), Automated Tank Gauging (ATG), Independent Alarm Systems (IAS), Electronic Leak Detection (ELD), Overfill Protection Equipment (OPE), Hydrant Fueling Automation Maintenance (HFAM), Automated Fuel Service Station (AFSS) fuel systems and associated communication devices (modem and radio).
**Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:**
Three (3) years' experience and needs to be highly qualified in fuels. At a minimum, all contractors under this Appendix should have certifications on one of the following systems, ensuring all systems are covered, so as there is no system left unattended. Contractor personnel shall be qualified/certified by the manufacturer of the ATG, ELD, IAS, OPE, HFAM and/or AFSS equipment, when manufacturer qualification/certification exists. The Contractor must provide to the COR documentation to support the qualification/certification of personnel when requested. AFSS systems are installed at retail and bulk fuel distribution locations and track fuel transactions and maintenance services for military ground vehicles.
Work performed on AFHE equipment requires experienced Engineers, Subject Matter Experts and Computer Operators. At a minimum, should have certifications on one of the following systems, ensuring all systems are covered, so as there is no system left unattended. At a minimum, all contractors should have certifications on one of the following systems: Automated Fuel Handling Equipment (AFHE), Automated Fuel Service Station (AFSS), ATG (Automated Tank Gauging) Systems, Independent Alarm Systems (IAS), Electronic Leak Detection (ELD), Provide annual pipeline leak detection certification, as well as quarterly and periodic leak detection testing & technical support for installed Hansa and Vista leak detection systems, Leak Manager Support via installed Fuels Manager Defense (FMD) systems to provide certification and technical support for Varec Leak Manager, Hydrant Fueling Automation Maintenance (HFAM) or Overfill Protection Equipment (OPE). ATG Systems techs must have 3 years' experience, be knowledgeable, and (as required) certified within 30 calendar days of CTORD on the following ATG. Other systems include the following: Veeder Root TLS Series ATG System (Level 3 Veeder-Root certified), ENRAF 854 Servo ATG System, Independent Alarm Systems (IAS)-IAS Technician must have 3 years' experience, be knowledgeable, and (as required) certified, Scully Dynamic Self Check, Ronan Continuous Monitoring Systems, Electronic Leak Detection (ELD)- ELD Technician shall have 3 years' experience, be knowledgeable, and (as required) certified, Hydrant Fueling Automation Maintenance (HFAM)- HFAM Technician shall have 3 years' experience in the hydrant system automation which includes the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), various operator interfaces, system parameter transmitters, flow switches, solenoids, motor operators, control valves, other control devices, and associated software. Must be capable of understanding and translating DoD hydrant system specifications in both verbal and written form and be responsible for overseeing hydrant system professionals during replacement, repair, diagnostics, or adjustment of individual components of the Hydrant Fueling System automation.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Military and/or technical training in fuel and/or water systems.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
**Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:**

Join our Field Engineering team, supporting initial deployment, operations, training and maintenance of a complex airborne and terrestrial tactical communication system. We are seeking a Systems Engineering Manager 1 who will manage Triton Program Engineers and Operations/Sustainment within our OCONUS locations.
This EX-PAT position will be assigned to one of the following overseas locations: UAE, Guam/Japan, or Sigonella, Italy for a minimum of two years. Assignment to a specific location will be determined by business needs. Candidate preferences will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
The selected candidate will be responsible for a team of highly skilled Field Engineers. This position entails a dual role, requiring the candidate to divide their time between employee management and serving as a leader for high level Operations and Sustainment in support of the Triton program at OCONUS sites. This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity for the selected candidate to work across a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced hands-on environment.
Functional supervision for a team of highly skilled Field Engineers, working multiple initiatives to include follow-on contracts, new business growth opportunities, internal research and development, and capital projects.
Recruiting new talent to fulfill staffing commitments.
Forecasting staffing needs and workload; employee inclusion, engagement, mentoring and career development; providing employee training and identifying necessary skills for program execution; managing employee performance reviews; and leading multitude of functional management processes.
Lead a deployed team ensuring high level Operations and Sustainment and performing hands on technical and leadership tasks during Triton operations.
Work closely with several diverse Integrated Product Teams as well as provide guidance to manufacturing engineering, logistics and operations staff.
Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and across multiple geo-separated sites, with internal and external customers, in written and oral format.
Support multiple classified networks, ensure necessary administration tasks are completed, and direct others as necessary.
Demonstrate outstanding leadership and collaborate effectively to drive high performance.
Will be expected to work after hours and weekends as needed.
Up to 25% travel as needed (including travel outside the US).
This role demands a diverse range of skills encompassing interpersonal, business, and technical capabilities. The candidate will need to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with Integrated Product Teams, to achieve the program goals.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in STEM with a minimum of 5 years related experience or Master's Degree in STEM with 3 years related experience.
Experience with leadership; required to achieve sustainable top performance and work effectively in a team environment.
High proficiency in technical problem solving, to include root cause analysis, solution development, implementation, and monitoring.
Experience with ground station systems and IT responsibilities associated with a ground station.
Experience with trusted downloads from Classified systems.
Experience performing review and analysis of engineering schematics, supplier design data, support of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration on the Ground stations.
Familiarity with and performing field integration, troubleshooting, and repair of systems at customer locations on a flight line or in a hangar or within a command-and-control center.
Familiarity with Aircraft Vehicle operations associated with Ground stations.
Familiarity with OCONUS assignments and administrative management of site-specific cost and oversight requirements.
US Citizenship required and MUST have an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to be cleared for special access programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with IETM’s, NATOPS, Maintenance instructions and Maintenance sign off processes
Experience with voice comms, networks and Air Vehicle Operator interfaces
Experience in Engineering Design and Change Management
Experience in preparing status reports and communicating status of projects to management, identifying risks and mitigation activities to meet expected results and schedule.
Experience in developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program managers and customers.
Experience with OCONUS Global Mobilization organizations and managing a team of field support engineers
Experience with Cyber system requirements, STIGs, ATO and other relevant processes.
Salary Range: $118,100.00 - $177,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
