• Evaluates the nature of critical and emergency procedures and arranges patient priorities to accommodate them in conjunction with the radiologist's instructions.
• Assists the Chief and Technical Director of Medical Imaging with the coordination of the Departmental Quality Improvement and Education Programs.

1. Perform molecular biological procedures (from field-collected samples like blood, tissue, biopsy, microbes, etc.), including DNA and RNA extraction, PCR, library preparation, and sequencing (and all associated reagent preparation).
2. Monitor sample quality from reception through nucleic acid extraction to sequencing.
3. Understand and execute sequencing library preparation protocols using both manual and automated liquid handling systems.
4. Handle and maintain short-read sequencers from either Illumina and/or MGI platforms.
