We are seeking a skilled Power Systems Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and documenting electrical power systems in compliance with UAE regulations. We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC System Design Specialist with strong experience in FEED and Detail Design phases of onshore oil & gas projects preferably with exposure to international design standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing HVAC system design deliverables ensuring compliance with project specifications, international codes, and industry requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop HVAC system design deliverables including: layouts, equipment selection, ducting, piping, data sheets, routing drawings, control schematics, Bill of quantities (BOQ), etc.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and architectural teams to ensure integration of HVAC systems.
• Prepare and review HVAC system design documents in line with FEED and Detail Design requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and relevant international codes.
• Support in HVAC load calculations, equipment sizing, and system design.
• Liaise with vendors and subcontractors for technical clarifications and design validation.
• Attend design review meetings, model reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, etc.
• Provide design support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Incorporate ADNOC and client feedback into the design deliverables.

• In-depth knowledge of power distribution, redundancy, fault current analysis, grounding, harmonics, load management.
• Familiarity with international standards IEEE, NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC, Uptime Institute, ISO/IEC, TIA, BSI.
• Accredited Tier Designer ATD certification preferred.
• Chartered Engineer status desirable CIBSE, IET, ASHRAE.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
