Job Description:

• Assembling and packing food orders in carry-out containers and bags

Main duties and responsibilities of the Kitchen Steward role include providing exceptional service to guests, working effectively as part of a team, adhering to hotel standards, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

1. To provide a professional and courteous service at all times following Rixos Hotels Standards of Performance.
2. To perform all duties and tasks in the assigned place of work efficiently.

13. To clean and wash dishes according to performance standards.

15. To empty rubbish bins according to the garbage schedules.
16. To have a comprehensive understanding of all cleaning procedures, use of dishwashing machines, and types of chemicals used.
17. To maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
18. To use operating supplies judiciously to minimize waste and excess.
19. To handle guest and employee inquiries in a polite and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow-up with guests.
20. To attend and participate in all staff meetings, departmental trainings, and other related activities.
21. To assist in carrying out regular inventory of operating equipment.
22. To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag. To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to hotel and department appearance standards.
