The primary role of a Land Surveyor is to establish and define the boundaries of properties through detailed surveys, measurements, and mapping techniques.
- Conducting topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys to determine property lines, elevations, and other characteristics of terrain;
- Preparing and maintaining accurate records and documents related to surveys, including sketches, maps, and legal descriptions;
- Verifying the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites;
- Directing or conducting surveys to establish legal boundaries for properties based on legal deeds and titles;
