The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting. A background in hotel engineering or maintenance is also highly valued.

Responsibilities include responding to guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve issues, performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, visually inspecting tools and equipment, carrying equipment, identifying and operating shutoff valves, maintaining inventory, and communicating daily activities to other shifts.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and guestroom items. They will also be able to program TVs, manage inventory related to housekeeping and engineering, use the Lockout/Tagout system, and perform repairs on landscaping and sprinklers.

This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, navigate stairs, ramps, ladders, and reach overhead or below the knees. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be able to welcome and acknowledge guests, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting is preferred. Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.

License or Certification: Driver's License is required.
