- Ensure quality and accuracy of EPC contractor's Mechanical (Static Equipment) engineering design activities, system integration, and design selection.
- Supervise and manage review and approval of EPC contractor's work, ensuring compliance with owner and project specifications, relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models, contributing expertise to ensure design optimization and validation.
- Control and coordinate instrumentation and telecommunications specifications, including developing and updating specifications in line with owner requirements.
- Coordinate participation of other discipline engineers in layout reviews, design reviews, and technical workshops.
- Influence facilities and equipment design optimization.
- Provide technical assistance and coordinate with other discipline engineers.
- Coordinate technical reviews and analysis during vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, and performance evaluation.
Qualifications include:
- Decent experience in oil & gas (upstream), offshore experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university, with relevant experience.
- Experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry, including minimum years in the GCC region.
- Significant experience in similar roles for major international oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
- PMC & ADNOC experience is preferable.
- Gas processing experience in FEED & EPC phases.
