We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide leadership and expert guidance on the ADNOC Warehouse Integrated Operations (WIO) Project. The SME will play a key role in the successful design, development, and implementation of ADNOC’s new centralized warehouse and logistics operating model, ensuring alignment with best practices in supply chain, safety, cost optimization, and technology integration. This full-time role requires an individual with extensive experience in warehouse and logistics transformation, preferably within the oil and gas industry, who will contribute to all project phases, from strategic planning to technical execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Phase Support:
    Review and validate strategic documents, including operating model proposals, financial assessments (OPEX, CAPEX), and manpower resourcing models.
  • Identify gaps and propose improvements in alignment with best practices, safety standards, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with ADNOC’s operating partners to ensure alignment on legal, contractual, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Technical Phase Support:
    Evaluate technical and commercial aspects of warehouse design, logistics automation proposals, materials handling, and storage systems.
  • Ensure that designs, technical solutions, and integration plans are aligned with ADNOC’s requirements and international best practices.

  • Continuous Improvement and Risk Management:

  • Ensure that all decisions align with ADNOC's safety, cost-efficiency, and operational standards.
  • Evaluate financial models and provide guidance on cost optimization, including the back-charging model for resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
    Facilitate effective communication between ADNOC and all project stakeholders, including operating partners, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure transparency and accountability in project reporting and decision-making processes.
  • Support the change management process and assist in resolving any issues or gaps in the transformation process.
  • Expert Guidance and Team Leadership:
    Act as the go-to subject matter expert on all issues related to warehouse operations, logistics, automation, and supply chain management.
  • Lead and mentor other team members to build expertise in the field and ensure high-quality deliverables throughout the project.

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    Minimum of 10 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations, with a strong focus on transformation and optimization in the oil and gas sector or related industries.
  • Proven track record of leading or co-leading large-scale warehouse/logistics transformation projects.
  • Expertise in digital warehouse solutions, automation technologies, and SAP integration.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management, procurement processes, and inventory management.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    In-depth knowledge of warehouse models, logistics network design, and material handling systems.

Additional Requirements:
The SME will be exclusively dedicated to this project for its entire duration and will not be assigned to any other projects. The selected SME must be approved by ADNOC during the technical evaluation process. Must be capable of obtaining the necessary visas and work permits to operate in the UAE.

At least 10 years of professional experience in technical Marketing of refractories and/ or in the application of refractories in the industrial environment.

  • Experience in quality management systems would be a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g., chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, ceramic engineering, materials engineering or metallurgical engineering).
  • Good MS office skills.
  • Should be proficient in English. Knowledge of French would be considered a differential.
  • Distinctive problem-solving competence, strong customer orientation.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, 40% of worktime would be used for visiting customers.

About the job

The main purpose of this job is to spearhead technical marketing of RHI Magnesita products in the respective region by defining aggregate wise product strategies and implement target actions within agreed time frame to improve product performance and maximize profitability.

Your tasks will include:

  • Resolve customer complaints and coordinate product failure analysis, trouble shooting and implementing solutions within target time frame to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Verify the effectiveness of the corrective and/or preventive actions implemented for their effectiveness
  • Present & Review Products, Services, Solutions (value creation projects) at Key customers to gain edge over competition
  • Create technical offers & proposals
  • Provide technical expertise and detailed application knowledge of customer processes and refractory products to support the sales activities.

About the Role

As a Product Technical Specialist at InterSystems, you’ll be at the forefront of enabling successful healthcare system implementations across the Middle East. You’ll collaborate with regional and global teams to design, build, and support innovative solutions that meet regulatory requirements and real-world clinical needs.

You’ll work across the product lifecycle—from early discovery and integration design, to go-live support and long-term optimization—while maintaining a strong technical foundation and customer-centric mindset.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role that blends software development, problem-solving, and solution delivery in one of the most impactful sectors in the world: healthcare.

What You’ll Do
  • Product Discovery & Design
    • Collaborate with project, product, and pre-sales teams to analyze customer requirements and design tailored solutions.
    • Participate in customer and third-party workshops to scope integrations, reports, migrations, and other technical components.
    • Estimate development and configuration effort across all phases of the project.
  • Implementation & Delivery
    • Develop and test integrations, data migration scripts, reports, and configuration tools using modern technologies.
    • Work in sprints alongside the configuration team to deliver contracted functionality.
    • Conduct debugging and root-cause analysis for complex issues during and after release.
    • Work in agile delivery cycles in collaboration with configuration, QA, and service teams to ensure rapid and reliable delivery.
  • Go-Live & Support
    • Support cutover planning and on-site go-live activities.
    • Assist with handovers to the Support team and provide third-line support when needed.
    • Evaluate and estimate changes introduced via Change Control or product evolution.
    • Act as a trusted technical advisor across implementation, support, and product teams.
    • Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery workflows.
    • Represent InterSystems with professionalism at customer sites and implementation partner locations across the region.
What You Bring
  • Proficiency in software development, scripting, or technical solution design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; can breakdown complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable designing and documenting technical solutions.
  • Experience working directly with customers or external stakeholders.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with InterSystems technology or health care systems.
  • Knowledge of Health Information Exchange (HIE) standards such as HL7 or FHIR.
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations and take full ownership.
  • Multilingual (English + Arabic or French highly desirable).
  • Familiarity with GCC healthcare regulations and environments.
