About the Role:
As a Tax Associate (VAT Specialist), you will play a crucial role in managing VAT compliance, advisory, and reporting for our clients. You will ensure that all tax filings are accurate, timely, and in compliance with the latest UAE VAT laws and GCC regulations. Additionally, you will provide expert guidance on VAT structuring, VAT exemptions, and VAT audits while working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in VAT laws who are looking to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- VAT Compliance & Reporting:
- Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Conduct VAT reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with VAT record-keeping requirements.
- Handle VAT registrations, deregistrations, and amendments.
- Provide expert guidance to clients on VAT implications, exemptions, and compliance strategies.
- Assist businesses in structuring their transactions in a VAT-efficient manner.
- Interpret and apply VAT regulations to specific business scenarios.
- Respond to client queries related to VAT and indirect taxation.
- Assist in VAT audits and reviews conducted by tax authorities. Liaise with government tax authorities and respond to inquiries.
- Identify VAT risks and propose solutions to mitigate exposure.
- Stay updated with the latest changes in VAT regulations in the UAE and GCC.
- Conduct internal training sessions to enhance team knowledge on VAT matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax compliance across departments.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA Inter, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in VAT compliance, tax advisory, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books) and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and regulatory authorities.
- Salary: AED 5,000–7,000 (based on experience and skills).
- UAE Residence Visa & Medical Insurance provided.

Title: Financial Consultant/Controller (FC/FM)
Role:
The FC will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, with a key focus on financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, and managing relationships with financial institutions.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of finance functions, relevant experience in the real estate development and management sector, and the ability to develop and present clear, strategic financial reports to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Management Information Systems (MIS):
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established timelines.
- Lead the development of MIS reports to monitor performance metrics, cash flow, and overall financial health.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Banking & Financial Relationships:
- Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions to secure favourable terms and ensure funding availability for operations and future developments.
- Coordinate loan applications, renewals, and other banking-related matters.
- Management & Leadership:
- Lead and manage the finance operations team, ensuring operational efficiency and the continuous improvement of financial processes.
- Mentor and develop junior finance staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Act as a financial adviser to senior management, supporting strategic planning and decision-making.
- Financial Analysis & Modelling:
- Build financial models to forecast company performance under various scenarios and support long-term strategic planning.
- Analyse key financial ratios to evaluate the company’s profitability, liquidity, and overall financial health.
- Accounting Systems & Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Maintain expertise in accounting applications and software relevant to the industry.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and internal company policies.
- Industry-Specific Financial Management:
- Apply sector-specific experience in real estate development and management to support business decisions and project assessments.
- Provide financial analysis related to real estate investments, construction projects, and property management, ensuring profitability and effective risk management.
- Presentations & Communication:
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports and presentations to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Clearly and concisely communicate complex financial data and insights in an actionable format.
Experience, Education, and Skills:
- Proficiency in English.
- Professional finance qualification from a recognised body (e.g. ICAEW, CA, CIMA, US CPA).
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a financial management role, preferably within the real estate development and management sector.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, MIS, financial modelling, and analysis of financial ratios.
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and sector-specific accounting practices.
- Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Skilled in automating Excel-based tasks using M Query, Office Scripts, or VBA.
- Advanced capabilities in data analytics.
- Thorough knowledge of escrow laws and regulations.
- Proven track record in managing banking relationships and leading financial negotiations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Advanced expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
