KEY RESULTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop strategic objectives and plans for roads structures maintenance, including rehabilitation projects, setting measurable goals and key initiatives based on current and expected performance within specifications.
- Deliver and maintain roads structures and related systems, managing activities internally or through contractors, including the evaluation of consultants and contractors.
- Oversee maintenance of bridges, tunnels, metal barriers, electromechanical equipment, fire fighting systems, cameras, emergency phones, and associated facilities.
- Manage the development of the Bridge Maintenance Management System (BMMS).
- Review maintenance contract documents and monitor contractor performance.
- Ensure snag lists for new structures are prepared and submitted for rectification.
- Develop and manage strategic and operational KPIs, performance management systems, and manuals for road structures and facilities maintenance.
- Manage contracts and renewal procedures, ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, legal, and regulatory standards.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance for traffic and road structures and facilities across the Emirate.
- Prepare tender documents and evaluate technical offers.
- Monitor pavement conditions and maintenance activities for all roads and structures in Dubai.
- Supervise maintenance works by managing consultants and contractors effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to improve complex work processes.
- Proficient in various software applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
