What you'll be doing
As a Studio Production Trainee, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of daily ecommerce shoots. Working closely with the production, styling, photography, and sample teams, you’ll be responsible for supporting the operational side of our busy in-house studio. This role is ideal for someone highly organised, process-driven, and passionate about smooth studio logistics.
- Coordinate the daily flow of samples across styling, photography, copy and quality control.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of daily shoot schedules
- Assist with image qc and upload of imagery to internal platforms
- Ensure all products are accurately checked in and out of the studio using internal tracking systems.
- Support with the preperation of sets ahead of shoots with required products, equipment, and set.
- Support ecommerce shoot operations by monitoring progress, updating trackers, and flagging delays daily.
- Liaise with the stock team to ensure shoot readiness and resolve any product-related issues.
- Maintain studio organisation and assist with stock movements between departments.
- Support operational reporting including shoot volumes, team output, and production issues.
- Ensure studio processes are followed in line with SLAs and KPIs
What you’ll need to succeed
- Entry-level or 6–12 months of experience in a production, fashion, or studio environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive mindset and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced enviroment.
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Familiarity with creative environments and ecommerce content is a plus.
- Working knowledge of tools such as Google Workspace, Excel, or project management tools.

We are a new studio setting up in Dubai. We offer clients a membership to use our facilities. Our main service is for people to work independently on their art.
The job vacancy is for the titel of : Studio Technician. The job is a mix of artistic and technical work. One part of the job is to be in the studio and help the clients. Example : some members need help to center on the wheel. some need help to make a slab project or to make glaze inside one color and outside another color. Your role will be to assist the clients as and when needed. The other part of the job is to load the kiln, fire the kiln and off load the kiln. Other technical duties would be using the pug mill to recycle the clay when needed.
We are a new concept in Dubai and we have many ideas to grow the business. We are looking for someone who is passionate about sharing ceramic art with others. In future there is room to make special orders for hotels and events. As part of the Studio Family, you will have great deal of input on the expansion of the studio. we welcome all ideas that will contribute to making the studio successful.
Technical Skills Requirement :
Slab and pinch technique to advance level
Tile making skills to good level
Sculpture skills to moderate level
Wheel throwing skills to advance level
Mold making and casting skills to moderate level
Kiln operations and maintenance to advance level
English language to good level
Teaching skills to good level
Years of experience : min 2 years studio experience or graduate degree in ceramics
One reference letter required from studio manager or teacher.
Salary and benefits :
Full time job : 6 days working
Salary per month : USD 800.00
Benefits : First Air ticket, 1 air ticket (to home country) every 24 months.
Public transport travel card
End of Year bonus : depending on studio performance
Contrat : 1 year (renewable)

The Opportunity
The Studio Technician is responsible for the provision of technical support to faculty and students in the College of Arts and Creative Enterprises. The technician will maintain, oversee, and supervise the various art and design studios, shops and labs, which support the diverse specializations.
The Responsibilities
Art and Design studio operations support, maintenance, and supervision
- Serves as the liaison between CACE and CPDS for maintenance and safety issues.
- Works with the faculty to carry out teaching goals and special departmental projects and maintain presentation and gallery spaces within the department.
- Maintains the daily operations of the Art and Design studios, shops and labs.
- Prepare equipment and materials for classes and teaching as required.
- Assist with Exhibition installation as required.
- Compile and update regularly, listings/ inventories for the purchase of materials and resources used in the studios as per health and safety standards.
- Order and take inventory of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment, along with reporting as required.
- Supports in servicing, replacing spare parts, maintenance of equipment, purchase of equipment and materials, and providing technical support for the College’s teaching and research commitments.
- Provide technical support and demonstrate safe operation of different types of machines and studio equipment to staff and students as required.
First Aid and Workplace Health and Safety:
- Consults, develops and works with Campus Physical Development department on safe operations of workshops, studios as per the university environmental health and safety requirements.
- Assures that the studios are safe and orderly and that equipment remains in good working condition; assures that health and safety precautions are followed
- Provides health and safety workshops and inductions to advice and demonstrate the obligations and responsibilities under the Health and Safety rules and operation of lab equipment as required; monitors and oversees the safe use of the studios and their assets outside the class time.
- Ensure all hazardous substances are registered and correctly labeled and stored as per the university environmental health and safety requirements and recorded
- Carry out Risk Assessments on all hazardous substances and maintain procedures as per university environmental health and safety requirements
- Prepare standard operation procedures (SOP) for studios and other college activities as per university environmental health and safety requirements
- Coordinate and Participate in the university environmental health and safety training, inspections, audits and support with requirements
- The technician will be required to troubleshoot and use sound judgment to develop and apply solutions to issues pertaining to the studio and various equipment such as woodworking tools and equipment’s, CAD CAM machines as per university health & safety requirements
- The technician will be working with faculty and students in relation to providing studio and technical support.
The Requirements
Must possess a B.F.A or equivalent in the appropriate disciplinary area from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Other Requirements:
Broad studio experience, and be knowledgeable and capable of working with the chemicals, tools and machinery in the below disciplinary areas (at least three or more) and is willing to train in those areas where more experience is required:
Ceramic Equipment: Pottery Wheels, Kilns
Welding Equipment
Metal and Wood Working Machinery
Portable Electric and Air Operated Tools
Hand Tools
Painting, drawing and sculpture Equipment
Printmaking Equipment including chemicals
Ability to lift, carry and move heavy items.
Knowledge of Exhibition Preparation
Knowledge of first aid and Health and Safety in a studio environment
Substantial level of computer literacy.
Excellent English communication and writing skills.
