We are seeking a skilled **Assistant Project Manager** with a background in architecture or, engineering design to join our Integrated Design Leadership team within the Property & Buildings department. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, supporting the delivery of innovative and sustainable design solutions from concept to construction.
+ Support the planning, coordination and execution of large, complex design projects.
+ Understand our project contract, scope, and deliverables to ensure accurate execution.
+ Coordinate with multidisciplinary design and delivery teams to ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines.
+ Communicate updates, actions and priorities to the project team effectively and efficiently.
+ Support the project lead in communications with the client and stakeholders.
+ Support delivery against the project programme, working with disciplines to ensure collaborative updates and accurate resource allocation.
+ Review design outputs to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.
+ Support the coordination with internal teams and authorities to ensure alignment and approvals.
+ Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager.
+ Participate in project and team meetings, contributing to collaborative problem-solving and decision-making.
+ Support the delivery of the Business Unit (BU) strategy, including sustainability and innovation goals.
+ Identify and report business development opportunities and client engagement prospects.
+ Stay current with technical developments and best practices in architecture and engineering.
+ A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management or related field
+ 2-5 years of experience in design and/or project management within the Property & Buildings sector.
+ Strong understanding of integrated design delivery processes and multidisciplinary collaboration.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Proven ability to manage tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure.
+ Proficiency in project management tools and design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, MS Project).
+ Commitment to quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Assistant Project Manager** to join our team! The Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure design projects. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery of design packages, compliance with client requirements, and alignment with regulatory standards.
Integrates the various engineering, scope, budget, scheduling, procurement, construction, and start-up aspects of a small project. May manage a subtask of a larger project or study in accordance with contractual obligations. Responsible for the technical excellence of the engineering functions of the project including coordination of technical disciplines, procurement of materials and equipment, and construction planning assistance. Relocation to the project site may be required during construction and start-up activities.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
Project Coordination:
+ Assist in managing day-to-day project activities across design disciplines (roads, utilities, drainage, etc.).
+ Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders including clients, authorities, and contractors.
+ Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines using project management tools.
Design Management:
+ Support the review and integration of design inputs from various disciplines.
+ Ensure design documentation meets quality standards and complies with local regulations and client specifications.
+ Facilitate design review meetings and follow up on action items.
Documentation & Reporting:
+ Prepare and maintain project documentation including meeting minutes, progress reports, and submission logs.
+ Assist in compiling IFC (Issued for Construction) packages and NOC (No Objection Certificate) submissions.
Stakeholder Engagement:
+ Liaise with government authorities for approvals and permits.
+ Communicate effectively with clients to understand requirements and provide updates.
Risk & Issue Management:
+ Identify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
+ Escalate critical issues to the Project Manager for resolution.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
+ 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure design or project coordination.
+ Familiarity with design standards and approval processes in the region.
+ Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
+ Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
