Job Description
Materials Planning & Inventory Management
  • Taking the ownership of the purchasing process of ROShell.
  • Keeping updated lists of approved suppliers.
  • Analyse production schedules and forecasts to determine material requirements.
  • Planning the purchase of materials including issuance of the purchase orders, follow up on deliveries in accordance with lead times, create goods receipt notes, and close purchase orders.
  • Verify and raise the purchase invoices to accounts and maintaining records.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders to replenish inventory while minimizing working capital.
  • Ensure raw materials and components are always available for production without disruption and escalating any potential risk immediately.
  • Maintain accurate records of material usage and inventory movements in ERP systems.
Warehousing & Inventory Control
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, offloading, storage, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure inventory is organized, labelled and maintained according to safety and quality standards.

Customs Clearance

  • Stay up to date with changes in customs regulations to ensure compliant import and export activities.
Logistics & Transportation
  • Arrange domestic and international shipments for inbound and outbound materials.
  • Optimize logistics processes to reduce lead times and transportation/shipping costs for imports, exports, and domestic transactions.
  • Resolve shipping issues such as delays, damages, and discrepancies.
  • Track shipments and provide regular updates.
Quality Assurance & Control

Costing & ERP
  • Establishing the break ups and keeping the up-to-date records of the full landed costs of all the materials, components and other purchased items.
  • Analyzing deviations and creating the variance analysis and taking countermeasures to minimize the full landed costs.
  • Ensuring the master data in the ERP is up to date for all materials, components, auxiliary items and packing materials including costs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing and planning, imports, exports, and logistics, preferably in a manufacturing setting in the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of materials planning, warehousing operations, and international shipping and logistics with a proven ability to challenge and optimize costs.

Inventory Coordinator - Flavour Creation and Application Lab

An Inventory Coordinator for our flavour creation and application lab in Dubai providing essential support for both creation and application teams, supporting our customers in the Middle Eastern markets - Your future position?

We are now looking to recruit an 'Inventory Coordinator ' to support the efficient operations of our expanding flavour creation and application lab in our Regional Creative Centre in Dubai. You will be based in our Dubai Media City office and report to the local technical manager.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for -

Inventory monitoring and management:

  • Proactively monitor inventory and consumption trends and maintain the inventory levels for the Dubai flavour creation and application lab.
  • Process purchase orders of lab equipment and consumables through the internal SAP and Laboratory Compounding Management System (LCMS) weekly.
  • Proactively monitor and keep track of expired raw materials and replace them periodically in coordination with other Lab team members.
  • Receive, unpack and restock the raw materials and consumables for all workstations in the Lab.
  • Ensure proper allocation, handling, and storage of raw materials.

Data entry and reporting:

  • Record inventory purchases, perform a regular physical inventory count and reconcile actual stock counts to ensure database integrity and computer-generated reporting.
  • Processes purchase invoices for payment in SAP.
  • Process and document inventory and sample returns following established procedures.
  • Ensure regular reporting and flag inventory discrepancies to the Lab Team Leader for further assessment and action.
  • Perform routine administration duties, including data entry and assisting stakeholders when needed.

  • Be an active team player for continuous improvement opportunities and initiatives.
  • Have a constant endeavour to learn the usage of all internal systems.

Your professional profile includes -

  • Currently already based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 3+ years of relevant hands-on work experience in inventory management and coordination.
  • Expert working knowledge of SAP ERP for inventory management is mandatory.
  • Have a good knowledge of raw material supplies, ordering, and inventory control.
  • A basic understanding of the lab documentation protocol and handling of lab equipment and chemicals.
  • Comfortable with routine administrative tasks and working in a laboratory environment.
  • Has no known allergies to chemicals or flavour raw materials.
  • A good team player and comfortable with diversity.
