About the Role:
We are looking for a Supply Planning Lead to join the Careem Quik team. This person will be responsible for
ensuring optimal stock levels across dark stores through efficient replenishment from Distribution Centers,
cross-dock centers, and direct-to-store shipments and restock the DC to maintain sufficient days of cover. This is
a data-driven, high-impact role critical to achieving our goal of 100% item availability across all dark stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee replenishment operations from warehouse to dark store, cross-dock from distribution centers,
and direct-to-store shipments - Oversee supplier fill rates for all warehouse shipments coming from the sellers
- Ensure accurate and timely inventory movements to maintain 100% product availability across all dark
stores and define strategies to improve the in-stock % in dark stores - Identify and resolve stock discrepancies and proactively manage stock-outs or overstock situations.
- Analyze replenishment KPIs such as Instock % to identify trends and opportunities for process
improvement. - Collaborate with the supply chain, planning, and store operations teams to streamline replenishment
cycles. - Continuously suggest ways to refine inventory planning models using historical data and current sales
trends. - Leverage dashboards and SQL/Python tools to provide deep visibility into stock levels, forecast accuracy,
and operational bottlenecks.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong command of SQL, Python, and Excel
- Hands-on and confident in pulling and analyzing large datasets.
- Proven ability to break down complex data into actionable insights and communicate them effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a numbers first mindset.
- Background in quick commerce (Q-commerce) / E-commerce, FMCG, retail replenishment, or inventory planning is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage supply chain or operations projects independently.
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree from a Tier 1 college preferred.

- Education: MBA in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. - Certifications: CISCP, CPM, or similar certifications in supply chain management and planning. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in demand and supply planning, with at least 5 years in the FMCG sector (both food and non-food). - S&OP Expertise: Proven experience in managing and executing the S&OP process, with a deep understanding of its role in aligning business strategy with operational execution - FMCG (Food and Non-Food), Hygiene and Chemicals Industries - Excellent command on English (Arabic would be an advantage.) - Proficient in Demand forecasting, Inventory management, and Supply Planning tools/ software. - Proficient in MS-Excel, MS-Powerpoint, and Power-BI - Knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central, SAGE, Oracle Net-Suite, or Odoo) - Good communication and negotiation skills - Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills
