The Technical Project Engineer is responsible to coordinate all post-order engineering activities including design, develop, and control the electrical systems for customer projects in the UK&I. The role is based in Dubai and will provide remote support to the UK&I Projects Team.
Eaton's projects can involve every aspect of power distribution from low to medium voltage, UPS (uninterrupted power supply), and automation such as EPMS (Energy Power Monitoring System) and SCADA.
This technical coordination role ensures technical clarification of interphases between customer stakeholders (tech consultants, construction, eng teams.) and internal stakeholders (production eng teams, suppliers eng dpt, SW dvp etc.)
This role is also supporting application engineering teams during pre-order technical engagement on need bases.
Such projects mainly address Datacenter, T&D utillities and Oil and gas applications, but could include other types of large and complex projects requiring system integration.
Working as an integral part of the customer Project execution team, the PE is primarily an office role with very limited travelling to other locations including suppliers, Eaton manufacturing facilities and client offices and construction sites during pre-order/post order phases as needed.
The role requires an experienced, composed, highly motivated, Electrical Engineer who can effectively communicate and work with a wide variety of stakeholders in a dynamic environment and who demonstrate an understanding of all project's electrical requirements.
The Technical Project Engineer needs to work to specifications and liaise with Engineering consultant, General contractors, subcontractors and clients. Technical deviations and scope incremental needs to be flagged to respective project managers to be coordinated with customer before implementation.

+ Administrative and logistical support: support KAM's, Business and Commercial Directors for day-to-day support of the MEA Data Center business, complie and track sales data and prepare sales reporting data
+ Assist in using internal resources to develop proposals that meet/exceed client requirement
+ Assist KAM's to commercially respond to offer proposals
+ Be the go-to admin and support person for documentation and process person to help the KAM's oversee effective handover to post sales service & customer support teams
+ Be willing to learn and be the back up for KAM's on clients business, commercial condition, structure, strategy, operations and challenges.
+ Be highly knowledgeable on General business, structure, strategy, processes and interal systems. Salesforce a priority, SAP perferred but not essential.
+ Be an effective advocate and communicator of the benefits in supporting KAM's and the wider DC team within Eaton organisation
+ Know the the teams and Commerical Directors numbers. Support KAM's to be continuously aware of targets and current business levels within the account for forecast for order intake & revenue information.
+ Collaborate effectively with other departments and EMEA team members related to KAM's accounts
+ Help provide all internal stakeholder and functional departments the account specific guidance and insights required so that they can execute their role and add value to the client.
+ Support the KAM's, Business and Commercial Director to maintain internal multi-lane bridge between Eaton and the client organisation. This may include PLM, BU Engineers, BDM, Marketing, PMO, Services, Sales Operations & Order Management, and Supply Chain
+ Process failitation and Order Management support: Accelerate pricing approvals, and ensure accuracy of order matching and tracking.
+ Identify & build positive relations with all account decision makers & influencers who impact current or future business with Eaton.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors Degree or Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering or aquivalent
+ 5+ years of related experience in the data center business
+ Technical electrical and data center knowledge no essential but would be advantageous. Some epereince and knowledge in a technology related field desirable.
