Successful Applicants Will
- Be honest, transparent and have integrity.
- Have a recognised Level 1 and 2 Swim qualification from UK, US or Australian governing body, i.e. STA, Swim England, Austswim.

- Experience of teaching young students from the age of 3 and beginner swimmers.
- Has experience working with competition swimmers and attending and organising Swimming galas and events.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pool Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in swimming pool maintenance, with expertise in cleaning, vacuuming, brushing, skimming, and dosing chemicals as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks on the swimming pool, including cleaning, vacuuming, brushing, skimming & dosing chemicals as required.
- Maintain pH-Chlorine and pool water parameters as per Municipality standards via approved chemical dosing.
- Supply and dosing of chlorine and additional chemicals associated with maintaining pool water quality.
- Clean and clear out debris from the pool, skimmer, overflow channels, and pump baskets.
- Backwashing of filters as required and indicated by the pressure differential across filters.
- Periodic inspection of filters, pool operational parts on every visit and maintain proper records in the logbook.
- Reporting necessary repairs and activities to ensure the pool is maintained to its optimum performance and quality.
- Use a leaf scoop to remove debris from the bottom of the pool.
- Feed the pool with chlorine or another sanitizer to satisfy its requirements either manually or automatically.
- Ensure the water level is correct for the pump system.
- Adjust pool chemical levels using test kits.
- Perform visual inspection of pool water to ensure color, clarity, and no visible debris.
- Add pool shock to prevent green water and remove contaminants.
- Adjust pool chemistry: pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness.
- Only adjust pH levels once a week.
- pH should range between 7.3–7.7 depending upon the pool.
- To adjust pH levels use appropriate treatment (e.g., pH increaser or decreaser).
- Test bromine and chlorine levels:
- Free chlorine levels should range between 1-3 ppm.
- Free bromine levels should range between 3-5 ppm.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

- Knowledge of swimming pool operations and maintenance procedures.
