Job Description

The Business Systems Administrator for Group Enterprise Risk & Resilience will play an integral role in maintaining and analyzing all critical Risk Management and Operational Resilience insights held in our core systems. They will support the administration of software applications used for managing risk and resilience activities and provide executive support, including full administrative and secretarial assistance to the department and team members.

Responsibilities include maintaining, managing, and analyzing the risk register, business continuity, incident management, and data. They will identify trends and insights to support engagement with Business Units, Regions, and Corporate Functions.

The role is crucial in supporting the wider team to embed DP World’s Risk & Resilience frameworks across the Group by ensuring core systems are up to date with accurate data for intelligence sharing with stakeholders.

The candidate will also support the SVP in departmental administration, including travel bookings, record keeping, and office management.

Required skills include strong analytical capabilities, a basic understanding of ERM, BCM, Crisis Management principles, and a desire to grow in Enterprise Risk & Resilience.

This role involves analyzing significant Risk & Resilience data and system maintenance to ensure end users have access to relevant insights.

Key Accountabilities
  • Support the rollout of ERM, Internal Controls, BCM, Crisis Management, Operational Resilience policies and frameworks.
  • Conduct data analytics across Risk & Resilience systems.
  • Support trend analysis and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Maintain and update data across systems.
  • Act as system administrator for access management.
  • Prepare risk & resilience reports for senior management.
  • Liaise with Business Units for risk and business continuity data updates.
  • Assist in review and monitoring activities with risk champions.
  • Recommend system enhancements for data quality.
  • Support system improvements to sustain risk & resilience evolution.
  • Review and update risk libraries and related tools.
  • Conduct research on current and emerging risks.
  • Provide administrative support including travel, records, and office management.
  • Coordinate department activities, meetings, and logistics.
  • Assist with invoice processing and expense management.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement and finance policies.
  • Manage departmental budgets and financial requests.
  • Propose improvements to administrative functions.
  • Review departmental documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support onboarding and training activities.
  • Promote DP World’s principles and ensure safety compliance.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • 3-4 years of systems administration and analysis experience.
  • Basic knowledge of ERM and Resilience standards (ISO 31000, ISO 22301, COSO ERM, NCEMA).
  • Strong report writing skills.

Job Purpose:

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, high-availability IT infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. This role ensures the robustness, compliance, and scalability of infrastructure services, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The Administrator will also drive automation, enhance disaster recovery preparedness, and maintain structured system documentation and SOPs.

Key Accountabilities:

Infrastructure Design & Deployment

Design and implement scalable hybrid infrastructure solutions integrating on-premise systems with Azure and GCP.

Plan and provision virtual machines, cloud services, and HCI resources.

Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and efficient system resource utilization.

Cloud Operations & Management

Manage Azure and GCP environments including compute, networking, storage, IAM, and cost optimization.

Administer virtual infrastructure, resource groups, VMs, and cloud-based services.

Perform identity and access control configurations to maintain secure environments.

Security, Compliance & System Hardening

Apply system hardening and security best practices across platforms.

Lead patch management activities to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities.

Ensure infrastructure compliance with frameworks such as ISO, NIST, or HIPAA.

Disaster Recovery & Backup

Develop and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery plans for business continuity.

Test recovery procedures regularly to ensure system resilience and minimize downtime.

Automation & Scripting

Create and maintain scripts and infrastructure-as-code using PowerShell, Terraform, or other tools.

Automate routine administrative tasks and deployment processes to improve efficiency.

Reporting & Documentation

Prepare the required System documents, report and guidelines to avail adequate documentation for using and maintaining the Operating system effectively

Develop comprehensive and user-friendly Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for infrastructure and operations.

Monitoring, Support & Collaboration

Monitor infrastructure performance and health, using tools to proactively detect and resolve issues.

Troubleshoot incidents and provide Tier 2/3 technical support as needed.

Collaborate with IT teams, DevOps, and stakeholders to support project delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Information technology or equivalent

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
