Main Responsibilities: • Handling a complete portfolio of indirect taxes including but not limited to compliance, advisory, health check, audits, structuring, litigation, etc. • Proactively assisting in the management of several clients, belonging to diversified industries/sectors, while reporting to managers and above • Assisting managers in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients • Attending trainings / webinars on GCC VAT laws and gaining in-depth knowledge on the subject • Building strong internal relationships within the firm across service lines • Establishing effective working relationships directly with clients • Keeping up to date with national business and economic issues • Effective time management and assisting managers in developing project plan and achieving deadlines • Contributing to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
Requirements
• Professional Tax Certification including CA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent • At least 4-6 years of professional experience in the industry or as a consultant in indirect tax • An additional postgraduate degree/ certification in finance/ taxation is an asset • Knowledge of the financial sector is considered a substantial advantage Key Demographic Requirements - Applicants must be: • Based in UAE • Minimum years of experience: 4-6 Job Location: • Dubai, UAE Joining Date: • Immediate Joining is preferred.
