Job Title: Technical Training Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Chief Instructor is responsible for overseeing and managing instructors in the delivery of technical education and officer courses. The role involves advising senior managers, supervising instructors, developing lesson plans, and maintaining records of instructor performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train all instructors to prepare and deliver standard performance-oriented best practice training.
• Ensure all training is developed and executed in accordance with the Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
• Maintain records of instructor performance and provide regular counselling and evaluations.
• Develop lesson plans and integrate computer technology enhancements into course delivery.
• Coordinate administrative support for courses, conferences, seminars, and exercises.

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor degree required, Master degree preferred, or equivalent years of experience in the same field.
• Graduate of a recognized school or military training program in combat vehicles preferred.
• A minimum of six years of experience as an instructor in combat vehicle technical training is required.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to conduct analysis and develop instruction and lesson plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience applying the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.

• Customer support experience with Micro SCADA and RTU family products preferably worked as a technical support engineer commissioning engineer.

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Specialist to join our Global Field Services training department. This role will report directly to the Regional Training Center Manager MEA and be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training and updating technical trainings for Service Representatives, Partners, Subcontractors, and End Users globally. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), they will design, implement, and update training courses, lab activities, and educational content.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct technical trainings remotely and on-site for Digital Energy, PME, EPO, and EcoStruxure for Secure Power and Power Services internal and external trainees.
• Ensure safety rules, quality, best practices, and safety conditions are met during each training session.
• Support other trainers to grow in digital services competency and ensure other trainers are updated.
• Maintain classrooms/training labs and electrical equipment/software.
• Work closely with Offer Line of Business, Digital Power Academy, technical management, and technical support to stay connected to the latest technical evolution.
• Design and deliver training courses, working closely with Digital Power Training Academy and Product/Service LoB to ensure suitable solutions for engineers of the future.

Qualifications:

• Ideally educated to engineer level in electrical or electronics, with validated expertise in SCADA technologies, IT/OT Systems, Cybersecurity.
• Experienced with IoT, networking, and software solutions.
• Good understanding of Schneider Software and EcoStruxure offers and solutions.
• Autonomous, with analysis and pragmatism skills.
