AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Technical Director to support the Construction Director - Abu Dhabi Scope in managing the consultant-side delivery of the Design & Build Contract for Civil Works, Stations, and Systems within the Dubai geography of the UAE High-Speed Rail (HSR) Intercity Project - Phase 1.
This role will lead technical problem-solving across all disciplines-including civil, structural, architectural, MEP, systems, track, and rolling stock-ensuring that design and construction challenges are resolved efficiently and in alignment with programme objectives. The Technical Director will coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs), contractors, consultants, and client representatives to ensure technical integrity, integration, and delivery excellence.
Requirements:
Sector Experience
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in high-speed rail (above 250 km/h), metro, or intercity rail systems.
 - Proven track record in technical coordination across civil, systems, and architectural disciplines.
 - Experience working in Design & Build environments with international contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
 
Technical Leadership & Problem Solving
- Lead resolution of complex technical issues across the Dubai scope, covering civil works, stations, and systems.

Design Coordination & Integration
