Amazon Web Services is looking for a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to support one of the world's largest telecommunications networks, focusing on long-haul leased capacity management across APAC and EMEAI regions. This role, within the Global Connectivity Infrastructure Development (GCID) organization, is responsible for driving strategic improvements in leased capacity delivery, data quality management, and infrastructure tool optimization. The ideal candidate will have proven experience, strong ownership, and passion for managing complex telecommunications infrastructure programs. Key job responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the Rest of World backbone team, managing the longhaul backbone leased capacity delivery plan across APAC/EMEAI
- Manage and track approved network plans with internal stakeholders and planners until infrastructure is in service

- Drive process improvements through tool optimization and automation

• Translate business and product needs into actionable technical specifications and program roadmaps.
• Anticipate risks and dependencies, align stakeholders, and resolve issues before they become blockers.
• Establish metrics and reporting for velocity, quality, and impact, ensuring transparency across leadership.
• Champion operational excellence by standardizing processes, automating workflows, and sharing best practices.
• Act as a trusted voice for Data & AI in cross-functional discussions, influencing decisions with technical and program insight.

Desired Qualifications

• 3+ years in program/product management with experience in data platforms, analytics, or AI/ML initiatives.
• 5+ years in engineering roles (software, QA, or data engineering) with strong technical acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to drive complex, cross-functional programs to completion.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including with senior leaders.
• Proficiency with Jira and agile delivery practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data governance, compliance, or security within AI/ML environments.
• Prior experience in technical leadership or engineering management.
