**Your contribution:**
As a **Technical Field Support Representative** , you will support the Aftermarket business **across Africa** by providing hands-on technical expertise and customer support.
Your role will include delivering technical trainings in various formats-from on-site customer visits and small group sessions to larger conference-style presentations. You will cover battery technologies, diagnostics, fitting instructions, and vehicle electronics systems, while also creating training materials and technical documentation. In addition, you will perform product demonstrations and trials, manage technical and warranty queries, and support customers in handling claims from their end users.
**Location: Dubai, UAE** (this role is expected to **transition to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia** as part of the company's regional expansion).
**What you will do**
+ You will guide customers through technical discussions up to sales closure, working with stakeholders ranging from mechanics to senior managers.
+ You will proactively initiate sales-driven technical conversations to identify the best product solutions and conduct targeted sales trainings.
+ Your responsibilities also include handling technical claims and supporting trade shows to strengthen market presence.
**What makes you a good fit**
+ Professional **qualification in a technical, engineering** (or commercial) **field**
+ Several years of experience in a sales and/or **technical role within the automotive industry** , combined with exposure to and **cultural understanding of African markets** , ideally within the automotive sector
+ Solid technical background including **strong technical knowledge** of cars and preferably **batteries**
+ Automotive, Commercial vehicle or Bus and Coach **technical training experience**
+ Experience with training technologies such as webinars, social media tools
+ Self-starter, able to organize own appointments and develop technical discussions into sales opportunities
+ Commercial acumen
+ Full Driving License and willingness to travel flexibly across a wide area
+ Fluency in **English, Arabic and French is a must** ,

+ Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason as well as creative and strategic
+ Influencing and negotiation skills
+ Genuine interest and passion for the automotive industry
+ Ability to demonstrate some project management skills

An AWS Technical Account Manager is a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect for our Enterprise Support customers. As a trusted advisor you'll have a direct impact in helping our customers gain the most value from cloud technology. You'll craft and execute strategies to drive our customers' adoption and use of AWS services. You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively keep your customers' AWS environments operationally healthy. The close relationships developed with your customers will allow you to understand their business/operational needs and technical challenges, and help them achieve the greatest value from AWS.
Our Technical Account Managers partner with some of the most iconic businesses in the country. These range from rising startups building their business from scratch through to large enterprises going through significant transformation. You'll provide advice on architecture, support strategy, project, and launch planning as well as ongoing operational issues.
AWS Global Services includes experts from across AWS who help our customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments. Customers innovate with AWS Professional Services, upskill with AWS Training and Certification, optimize with AWS Support and Managed Services, and meet objectives with AWS Security Assurance Services. Key job responsibilities
* You'll build solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer

Basic Qualifications
- Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment
- Experience in technical engineering
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
- Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead
- Arabic language proficiency
