The role of a Pediatric Psychologist involves conducting comprehensive psychiatric interviews and collecting diagnostic data to provide effective treatment plans for children and adults. This position requires a strong understanding of medical ethics, particularly regarding the obligation to maintain confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Conducting in-depth assessments to identify mental health concerns and develop personalized treatment plans
• Providing psychotherapies such as individual, group, and family therapy to promote emotional well-being and resilience
• Offering counseling services to support individuals experiencing marital conflicts or other relationship issues
• Administering and interpreting psychometric tests to diagnose and evaluate treatment effectiveness
• Participating in research initiatives to enhance treatment methods and techniques
Requirements:
• Master's degree in clinical psychology from an accredited institution
• Minimum 2 years' experience in clinical psychology
• Strong understanding of medical ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficient in administering and interpreting psychological assessments and measurement tools
• Valid licensure in country of origin and DOH license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory

Position Summary
The Mental Health Technician is an incredible opportunity to expand your role in health care through functioning as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary treatment team. - You will support the unit through excellent patient customer service and clinic management assistance
- You will collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, front office staff and clinic management to ensure comprehensive health care outcomes
- You will perform a variety of functions within the clinic setting requiring specialized knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, and data
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
- You will assist with maintaining a safe and hazard free environment by observing and documenting patient behavior, conducting patient room searches, reporting unsafe conditions and applying appropriate emotional and physical support
- You will provide and document interventions in a variety of modalities individually matched to the needs of each patient
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or any other human services field preferred and/or in lieu of education, will take 1 year of experience.Must be eligible to obtain a Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor; apply within 30 days and have from DOH within 90 days.
A current BLS certification
Must obtain a Nursing Assistant Registered or CNA prior to start date
If assigned to Navos Hospital, First Aid training required prior to start day.
Food Handler's Card is required within first two weeks of hire date.
Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $4.85 - 36.50 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
