Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications technical documents and drawings to determine scope and timelines.
  
• Supervise the installation of piping systems and oversee the welding process .
  
• Manage and track welder activities and job completion quality.
  
• Coordinate with internal teams contractors and consultants to ensure smooth execution.

We are seeking a Senior HVAC Designer with 8-10 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the design of HVAC systems for onshore substation buildings, including detailed design, drafting, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Our senior HVAC designer will be responsible for preparing HVAC system design drawings, layouts, schematics, and equipment schedules for onshore substation buildings in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes and standards.

• Conduct heat load calculations, duct sizing, and equipment selection using relevant HVAC design software and tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and other discipline designers to ensure HVAC designs are well-integrated and meet overall project requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, including material take-offs, design reports, and specifications.
• Review vendor data and shop drawings to ensure compliance with design intent.
• Support construction teams during the execution phase with clarifications and modifications as required.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of international codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.) and have experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments.

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8-10 years of proven experience in HVAC design, specifically for onshore substation buildings.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit or other BIM tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of safety, energy efficiency, and environmental regulations.

What Will You Be Doing In The Head of Mechanical / Associate Director Role?

Specific areas of key responsibility include the following:

• MEP Project leadership.
