**Qualifications:**

About the Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive KYC Analyst to support the onboarding and ongoing due diligence of clients for a leading bank in Dubai. Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable daily, weekly business dashboards and automated reports for core metrics (revenue, customers - acquisition/retention, vendor margins, product metrics etc.).
  • Structure and automate the Weekly Business Review (WBR) reporting framework across functions and geographies.
  • Perform deep-dive and root-cause analyses on financial trends, variances, and key business KPIs.
  • Partner with FP&A, Business Finance and Analytics teams to define and maintain data definitions, metrics, and build a single source of truth.
  • Own and build the Executive dashboards to support Monthly Financial Reviews (MFR), Quarterly Business Reviews, OKRs and Board reporting. Leverage tools like SQL, Biq Query, Lightdash, Python, Looker, Tableau, or QuickSight for building BI solutions.
  • Support in data integration initiatives, including identifying gaps, reconciling mismatches across data tables, and recommending fixes.
  • Provide ad hoc data support and scenario modeling for strategic finance initiatives and leadership queries.
Must Haves
  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A, business finance; exposure to high-growth or tech-driven industries, retail or ecommerce is preferred.
  • SQL and financial modeling expertise; experience with complex joins, and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with modern BI tools (Looker, Lightdash, Tableau, Power BI, Amazon QuickSight).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative thinking with the ability to structure ambiguous problems.
  • High proficiency in building intuitive, executive-level dashboards.
  • Effective storytelling with data; able to communicate complex insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates ownership, high judgment, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Job Description

GMEX’s Technology stack is based on: Java, JSF web-based GUIs, Low Latency Bus Architecture, FIX Messaging, Data Feeds, open-source database (PostgreSQL) & Linux (Centos) operating systems.

Delivery is typically Agile and experience should be demonstrable of how to drive projects.

Experience in trading applications or financial services is a bonus.

Job purpose

To gather client requirements and liaise with the development team to ensure these are delivered satisfactorily.

To be able to demonstrate GMEX systems to potential clients.

To manage test cycles and ensure quality is maintained.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
  • Business Analysis
    • Requirements definition and production of specifications.
    • Design study – workshop facilitation.
    • Managing client expectation.
  • Quality Assurance
    • System testing.
    • Production of test scripts.
    • Management and delivery of Go/NoGo documentation.
  • Client Management
    • Monitoring of client relationship and interfacing with key business personnel.
    • Check daily the 3rd party trade feeds. All non-transmitted trades to be investigated.
    • Assist with the creation and maintenance of Market Operations processes, and help improve operational efficiency.
  • Client Onboarding
    • Liaison with any 3rd parties who are connecting to the GMEX systems
  • Training
    • Training of client and internal staff.
  • Other Duties
    • Pre-sales demonstrations.
    • Assistance in creating sales proposals.
    • Flexibility of working hours to coincide with market hours and project deadlines.
