About The Position
Reporting directly to the Director of Travel Industry Sales, the Travel Industry Sales Manager is responsible for coordinating partner promotions (both online and offline), executing operational plans, analyzing campaigns, and managing projects. The role involves maintaining and developing relationships with all Travel Industry partners for Wynn Al Marjan Island.

The role involves maintaining and developing relationships with all Travel Industry partners for Wynn Al Marjan Island.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Support the Director in developing and implementing strategies to meet targets for room nights, ADR, and revenue from the leisure segment. Plan sales tactics and activities across assigned accounts and markets.
- Contract Negotiation and Process: Handle pre-qualification and rate negotiations with third-party partners, ensuring favorable terms. Assist with annual contract processes and evaluate high-value partnership opportunities.
- Sales and Marketing: Identify and close high-value sales opportunities. Coordinate sales and marketing activities to maximize effectiveness, leveraging partner relationships.
- Partner & Departmental Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with key partners across food and beverage, hotel, nightlife, and finance sectors. Network within the industry locally and internationally.
- Promotional Activities: Create promotional rate codes and coordinate partner promotions within property management and marketing systems.
- Goal Setting: Achieve monthly and yearly targets for room nights, revenue, and ADR, ensuring alignment with resort budgets.
- Representation and Networking: Represent the resort at trade shows and sales trips. Seek new business opportunities and foster team growth.
- Rate Strategy: Implement tactical rate strategies to maximize ADR and occupancy, ensuring competitiveness.
- Campaign Analysis and Project Management: Oversee marketing campaigns, analyze performance, and optimize future initiatives based on data.
- Operational Execution: Ensure seamless management of accounts and coordination with departments for promotional activities and events.
- Brand Awareness and Visibility: Collaborate with airlines, travel agencies, DMCs, wholesalers, and OTAs to enhance brand presence.
- VIP and High-Profile Guest Management: Build and maintain relationships with VIP partners, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
- Other Duties: Conduct site inspections, manage group files, issue contracts, process bookings, and perform additional tasks as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of related experience
- Minimum of 5 years in hotel sales
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel operating systems
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans

In This Role You Will
- Provide the highest standard of customer service to clients whether Retail, Government or Corporate, using all tools that are made available. Attend all customer queries and complaints in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Offer all dnata products, services, and loyalty programmes that are contracted by dnata Travel; offer information on destination and product to all customers to ensure that it meets their travel requirements. Maximise the sales consultation opportunity to cross sell/upsell any relevant auxiliary product to maximize the revenue.
- Make travel related reservations and issue tickets to clients, taking care that all relevant airline rules and regulations have been compiled with, and that the product delivered is commensurate with client requirements and expectations. Recommend alternate Classes of Travel, routes or carriers, in the case of nonavailability of requested seats, and effectively sell space (keeping in mind carriers that have been prioritised by the Department) and products to increase revenues for Dnata, seeking at the same time opportunities to upsell and cross-sell, using DFO or any other System made available by the department.
- Inform customers about mandatory requirements covering their journey such as passport, visa, health and insurance requirements as well as other details such as check-in place and time.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to update them on new products and services while at the same time work towards constantly improving working relationships.
- Adhere to all of the set standards of DSES, AlBatross and any internal audit standards to ensure that we comply with the expected benchmark defined by the customer audit team.
- Read, assimilate and implement all changes to DFO, Airline Fares, schedules and other relevant procedures, filing if necessary relevant information/ material for reference, to deliver a superior service to clients.
- Ensure all revenue documents issued are correctly reported on a daily basis, in the Back Office System to enable accurate invoicing by Sales and Revenue Accounts Department or the Lodged Card Operator, as the case may be.
- Airline Reservation Specific: Perform Pre-flight Checks send VIP/CIP/UNMR/MEDA messages as required, and action queues both Airline and DFO as assigned.
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- 12 Years schooling or equivalent and 1 Year in Commercial/Sales Reservations/Ticketing
- Excellent knowledge of geography and arithmetic
- Excellent interpersonal ability telephone and customer service skills to be able to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner
- Knowledge of dnata Front Office system/Airline Reservation systems
- Proficient in MS Office applications i.e. word and excel
- Languages: Strong verbal and written English is a mandatory
- Other: Spoken Arabic or any other foreign language would be an advantage
