This role is responsible for encompassing the performance of aftermarket services and support for the installed base, as well as High Voltage Products (GIS, LTB, AIS, GCB & Power Quality) maintenance services to our utility, contractor for UAE and would involve performing preventive maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and warranty repairs on High Voltage Products, as well as performing commissioning activities. - Strong knowledge of Power Quality Products & Service portfolios.
- Arrange and perform activities in shop floor/ Site related to quality checking of product/ Services, incoming material quality, Operation Service quality monitoring.
- Install, commission and maintain power quality systems, including filters, capacitors and reactors.
- Analyze electrical systems to identify power quality issues and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with clients and engineering teams to design and execute commissioning plans. Conduct site assessments and troubleshoot power quality issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee installation, alignment, and integration of STP/MBR systems on board ships or offshore platforms.
- Supervise or execute commissioning/Installation of vacuum toilets, collection tanks, transfer systems, MBR membranes (CIP cycles, replacement), Vacuum pumps, ejectors, valves, blowers, dosing systems, float switches and operate and manage ensuring leak-free and pressure stability.
- Perform routine testing of MBR permeate quality, membrane integrity, and vacuum pressure levels.
- Ensure systems comply with IMO (International Maritime Organization) and Marine standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, operational data sheets, compliance records and detailed service report

What we are looking for
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram, and equipment manuals related to STP, MBR systems, and vacuum collection systems.
- Hands-on experience in field service, maintenance, or technician roles, ideally within marine, offshore, or industrial wastewater treatment systems.
- Clear and effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with ship crew, contractors, and technical teams, and to document service reports.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word (for report writing) and Excel (for data logging, performance tracking, and maintenance records).
- Physically fit and safety-conscious, capable of working in confined spaces, sewage treatment compartments, and at heights or via ladders, in line with marine HSE standards.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively, often under pressure in time-critical service environments (e.g., port calls, dry docks, offshore platforms).

Job Description:
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Dubai region. The successful candidate will coordinate onsite and remote automation technical support, ensuring high-quality service delivery to our customers. Responsibilities include managing the full incident and problem lifecycle, collaborating across technical support, sales, and business development teams.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Lead field service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Execute critical customer-facing activities aligned with business performance metrics.
- Improve customer ratings through effective service and support.
- Provide maintenance and technical support for Field Instruments, including Hartenabled devices and ATG systems.
- Perform diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and calibration of E&H instrumentation.
- Support FMCG and process industries, including Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical, and Petrochemical sectors.
- Develop preventive maintenance plans and conduct root cause analysis.
- Identify and resolve long-term instrumentation asset concerns to improve reliability.
- Respond to emergency technical support requests for corrective maintenance.
- Maintain documentation to enhance the company's data repository and information systems.
- Advise on equipment and design specifications for process control and data acquisition systems.
- Adhere to internal processes and procedures diligently.
- Communicate effectively with OEMs and stakeholders to ensure successful work delivery.
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Electronics/Mechatronics) with at least 3 years of experience in industrial instrumentation systems' specification, installation, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and calibration.
- Hands-on experience with Rockwell systems.
- Strong knowledge of process instrumentation and measurement systems in Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, Petrochemical, and manufacturing industries.
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation systems.
- Ability to interpret P&ID diagrams, ISA symbology, and hardware/software conventions.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective stakeholder interaction, including with OEMs.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead technician teams.

In order to facilitate continuously our increasing demand for service and contribute to the overall business growth and customers' satisfaction we are looking for a Field Service Engineer within Compressor Technique Service (CTS) team.
The main responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Provide quality and timely service and maintenance to our local industrial compressed air customers as assigned by the service planner.
- Perform problem solving, repair and commissioning activities as assigned by the service planner.
- Apply related and necessary Safety & Health measures while providing service both at the customer site and in the workshop.
- Comply with all site specific rules and regulations together with relevant Safety & Health specifications and training.
- Utilize and maintain the special tools dedicated for different service activities.
- Promote Atlas Copco corporate values and image while providing service to the customers.
- Promote Atlas Copco CTS service products to customers.
- Duties include machine repair, preventive maintenance work, overhaul of compressors, compressed air dryers, commissioning of compressors, compressed air systems, and compressor management systems
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in compressed air technology and applications.
- Proven mechanical and/or electrical experience, preferably with compressed air equipment and ancillaries
- Experience in service delivery and on acting as customer interface while working in the field
- Proven experience in the installation and application of compressors and compressed air systems.
- Minimum 2 years hands on experience in the field with all compressor technologies: piston, screws, centrifugal, single stage and multistage.
- High-pressure piston compressors and boosters experience is considered as an additional value.
- Proven experience with compressed air dryers, refrigerated twin tower desiccant, relative dew point dryers
- Good understanding of electrical ladder logic diagrams, main motor controls as an additional value.
- Experience with competition equipment considered beneficial
- Service experience in oil and gas applications and industry is a plus
- Proven experience with Variable Speed Drive's, advanced electrical knowledge and able to install, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting any VSD
- Proven experience in Gateways and Networking knowledge: Modbus TCP/IP, ProfiNet, SmartView, Optimizer 4.0, Smart2SCADA and Smart2NET+
Must have a good grasp of basic compressed air engineering practices
Must have a good understanding with various pressure, temperature, position, level instrumentation, function & calibration
Should have basic millwright skills, in machine fits / gearing tolerance, main drive alignment
Should be able to make quick drawings for fabrication and or machining/ modification
PC literate
Able to make short concise detailed technical service reports
Clean UAE driver's license is an added value.
Good command of English, both written and oral
Educational Requirements
Engineering diploma at a minimum, with electrical, instrumentation, refrigeration or mechanical engineering.
And/or recognized diploma in Refrigeration technology, Hydraulics & Pneumatic technology
