We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Planning Associate to join our Supply Chain team based in Dubai.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to grow their career in logistics and supply chain.
You will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing logistics operations, ensuring the smooth movement of goods from suppliers to customers, while working closely with both internal teams and external partners.
As a Logistics Planning Associate, you will help drive efficiency across transportation, inventory, and warehouse processes while ensuring compliance with local customs regulations and supporting our regional operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and managing logistics plans and schedules aligned with customer demands and business objectives.
- Coordinate with local and international suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth shipment and delivery processes.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to optimize stock availability and reduce excess.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve any issues such as customs delays, transport disruptions, or documentation discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with local customs regulations, import/export laws, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to shipments, customs clearance, and logistics activities using ERP or logistics software.
- Generate logistics performance reports and support continuous process improvements.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure alignment of logistics operations.
- Support warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding in the UAE/GCC region is a plus.
- Familiarity with local customs and import/export regulations.
- Proficient in logistics/ERP software (SAP, Oracle, TMS) and MS Office.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the logistics field.

Requirements:
Strong experience with data integration platforms EDI and REST API development is essential along with expert-level knowledge of WMS preferably LFS AS400. Skilled in SQL and data visualization using PowerBI. A minimum of 3 years experience in API/EDI/customer integration ideally in logistics is required. Proficiency in programming languages like Python and MS Power Platform is also necessary. Additionally a Bachelor's degree in computer science IT engineering or logistics is preferred. Strong interpersonal communication and time management skills are also crucial for this role.
