Overview of the Role:
The Senior Web Analystleads onsite merchandising and search optimization across multiple Al Futtaim Ecommerce sites while owning digital tracking and analytics implementation. This hybrid role ensures best-in-class customer experience, campaign measurement, and data accuracy. You'll guide junior merchandisers, drive trading strategies, and ensure robust analytics through tools like GA4, GTM, and BigQuery.
What You Will Do:
- Improve website KPIs through strategic merchandising, product placement, and search engine optimization.
- Lead merchandising/trading for e-Stores, maximizing visibility, availability, cross/up-sell, and content accuracy.
- Own end-to-end tagging and analytics implementation via Google Tag Manager, including enhanced ecommerce, server-side tagging, and custom events.
- Ensure accurate GA4 tracking (including BigQuery exports) and app analytics via Adjust/Appsflyer.
- Build reports/dashboards using Looker Studio or similar BI tools; perform analysis using SQL (BigQuery).
- Drive campaign measurement and attribution (paid, SEO, email, influencer) using UTM and source/medium tracking.
- Ensure compliance with privacy laws (GDPR/CCPA), Consent Mode v2, and platforms like Cookiebot.
- Support homepage/promotional updates and collaborate cross-functionally for flawless execution.
What You Will Need:
- 4+ years in Ecommerce Merchandising and website performance roles.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce trading, search optimization, and site UX.
- Hands-on experience with GTM, GA4, BigQuery, SQL, and app analytics tools.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JS for debugging; experience with headless architecture is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage UTM structures, attribution, and analytics QA.
- Knowledge of privacy compliance, consent management, and automation tools (Apps Script/Python is a plus).
