Job Title: PTW Coordinator
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Professional who will provide a high level of support in the management and coordination of Permit to Work (PTW) activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement the HSES Management System by considering company, client, and regulatory specifics
- Promote a consistent, risk-based HSES culture
- Serve as the primary contact for all PTW activities, liaising with authorities, supervisors, and the Performing Authority (PA)
- Coordinate and oversee all Trakhees EHS Ship Yard Repair permits for work on barges at the quayside
- Collaborate during planning to ensure comprehensive risk assessments and hazard mitigations
- Lead daily PTW coordination meetings, update work activity plans, and maintain records of PTWs and audits
- Brief Superintendents on permits for the next day, ensuring compliance and conflict resolution
- Conduct spot-checks and routine audits to ensure proper execution of permitted work
- Monitor overdue or expired permits, maintain documentation as per policies
- Identify and propose improvements to the PTW process for safety and efficiency
- Generate PTW reports and track non-compliance issues
- Participate in audits, incident investigations, and collaborate with HSE Department
- Engage in safety programs, report incidents promptly
- Contribute to HSES training and awareness materials
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering or technical field
- Six years experience in Energy or Oil and Gas Industry
- In-depth knowledge of local and international HSES laws, codes, and regulations
- ISO standards lead auditor certification
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead teams
- Strong competencies in procedural implementation and compliance
- Skills in statistical and data analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
