Overview of the roleThe primary focus of the role will be to receive, process and administer all departmental job costing in accordance with the retail and distributor process requirements and guidelines.
Responsibilities- Return unacceptable job cards to the appropriate department with clear and concise reasons for the rejection of the job card for costing.
- Support the Aftersales department in ensuring the correct invoicing of productive labour, consumables, oils, paint and materials and any sublet items are with the correct and accurate allocation of all job codes, repair incidents and associated repair codes for each repair, to minimise the lost productive time used on diagnostic of repairs, and to conduct all of this whilst operating within the retail and manufacturer guidelines.
- Complete the daily process, review, verification and processing of job cards.
- Ensure that productive working hours are claimed against each repair type and minimise lost productive hours.
- Ensure that each job card meets the distributor recommended operational programs to ensure correct procedure and Kaizen adherence.

As a Technical Advisor based in Dubai, you'll be the go-to expert supporting our Service Advisors with Advanced General Repair (AGR) vehicles. You'll connect directly with customers to understand their concerns, confirm symptoms through interviews and test drives, and ensure a seamless diagnostic experience. Your mission? To lead Technicians with confidence, resolve issues right the first time, and deliver the "Best in Town" customer experience—solidifying our brand as a market leader.
What You Will Do- Drive performance by maximizing individual sold hours to hit and exceed revenue targets.
- Hit the mark on monthly productivity goals—including utilization and efficiency benchmarks.
- Ensure flawless warranty compliance to meet Principal regulations and successfully qualify vehicles under Branch Self Approval (BSA) criteria.
- Submit Electronic Warranty Approval Request Forms (EWARF) promptly and accurately.
- Analyze and communicate technical report findings, and support the Technical Leader with coaching and insights.
- Keep the workshop ready for action—ensuring all diagnostic tools and equipment are up-to-date, maintained, and audit-ready per distributor guidelines.
- Conduct regular tool audits to maintain a high-performing, efficient workspace.
- Certified Diagnostics Master Technician (DMT)
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience in a dealership environment as a Workshop Supervisor, Controller, or Foreman
- A background in Mechanical Engineering or an Automotive Diploma
- Strong ability to write detailed technical reports and share insights
You’ll report directly to the Workshop Manager and play a key role in customer satisfaction—especially for those with complex technical concerns. This role is highly collaborative, working across departments and branches to maximize performance and customer trust. You’ll be in daily contact with key stakeholders including the Aftersales Manager, Retail Service Manager, Service Advisors, and other technical teams to ensure quality, speed, and consistency.
What Equips You For The Role- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering
- Certified in relevant technical programs
- A valid UAE Driving License
- At least 5 years of experience in an automotive dealership, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar technical leadership role
