- Ensure compliance of all product development activities with relevant food safety, quality, and regulatory standards, supporting certifications and promoting a culture of excellence.
- Lead and develop the team to foster innovation, collaboration, and efficient delivery of new products that align with business objectives and profitability targets.
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the culinary or related field.

Summary
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Product Development Coordinator to support the Fragrance Product Development team in day-to-day execution. Reporting to the Assistant Product Development Manager, this role is key to ensuring project momentum and efficiency across multiple workstreams.
You will take ownership of sample logistics, meeting preparation, documentation, and operational follow-up, allowing the broader PD team to focus on creative development and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is hands-on, solution-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Enhance the effectiveness and productivity of the PD team by supporting daily functions as needed
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality on all projects and product development activities
- Receive, track, and label all incoming product and packaging samples (lab submissions, standards, sprays, etc.)
- Organize and maintain sample closets, product libraries, and project bins
- Archive formulas from contract manufacturers for future reference
- Prepare and organize sample sets for internal evaluations, cross-functional meetings, and supplier reviews
- Coordinate shipments to and from suppliers, labs, and warehouse partners (including booking, tracking, and customs follow-up)
- Assist in preparing and delivering submission kits for Mona, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct internal smelling sessions and gather feedback
- Prepare sample trays, meeting materials to help setting up meeting rooms
- Support during in-person and virtual product review sessions by managing samples and collecting feedback
- Consolidate feedback and notes from internal sessions into structured recap documents
- Update and maintain samples trackers and evaluation results
- Assist in the preparation of product fact sheets and documentation to support innovation presentations

- Directly liaise with the designers for entire project conceptualization, arranging the renderings/ AI files etc. Designers need to be giving technical feedback to the Product Manager
- Review value engineer projects to ensure cost effectiveness, suggest ideas on how to reduce costs and increase the ‘value’ of the product
RESEARCH AND MARKET ANALYSIS
- Understanding in details various market, be up to date with the trends in the market and align the product designs with the vision of the brand / product journey
- Give qualitative feedback in terms of designs / content / ideas based on market survey to the brand manager, and establish the world of possibilities for the brand
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
- Proceed with sampling only after approvals from commercial heads (keeping in mind the sampling policy)
- Direct interaction with sourcing team Hong Kong / Vendors to arrange / modify / improve samples after the feedback from the sales / brand teams.
- Pricing approvals through commercial head to align with the brief.
- Product manager is responsible to bring the new collection on the table including renderings / samples, and lead the product presentation from the forefront for all hub meetings and sales meetings.
MISCELLANEOUS
- Compile an archive of all designs used / un used within the brand / category, and optimize
- Prepare and maintain a bible for the brand, with all historic data and info on best sellers / worst sellers etc. including case library
- Ensuring sample availability for International Distributor’s meet / Hub meetings based on sample policy. (Brand Manager + Product Manager)

- Experience in building gross rating from first principles and working with Reinsurers on pricing and structuring.
