To ensure adherence to safety standards on all sites as per regulations, clients requirement and company safety policy so as to create a safe working environment.

• Prepare and implement site HSE plan as per agreed project schedule
• Regularly inspect site for adherence to safety standards as specified by the government authorities, ATS and specific Project safety plan
• Conduct safety inspection on site and send weekly report to HSE Manager and Project Lead
• Prepare accident report highlighting cause of accident, propose corrective action and implement, to prevent recurrence
• Identify unsafe practices on site, prepare necessary nonconformity reports, record the same and follow up for corrective action
• Conduct regular Tool Box Talk & maintain records
• Impart training and awareness amongst all site staff and subcontractors in safety and first aid guidelines
• Participate in management / client safety meetings when required
• Responsible for overall HSE related obligations at site
• Ensure all contractors work safely in accordance with the site safety plan
• Acts as point of contact for all HSE related enquiries and emergencies for allocated sites/projects
• Reports all injuries/accidents as per standard operating procedures
• Maintaining accurate administrative records of emergency drills and site inspections

Skills & Experiences:

• Diploma/ Certification in Construction Safety Engineering or any equivalent vocational safety certification
• Nebosh & IOSH certifications required
• 2 to 5 years of experience in the same field.
• Construction experience is mandatory
• Know-how and expertise in safety regulations

The HSE Inspector is responsible for monitoring and enforcing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on-site to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices. The role involves conducting inspections, identifying hazards, ensuring the proper use of PPE, and promoting a safe work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective actions.
• Monitor and enforce the proper use of PPE, tools, and machinery.
• Assist in risk assessments (HIRA) and job safety analysis (JSA) for critical activities.
• Ensure proper implementation of permit-to-work systems for high-risk tasks (hot work, confined space, work at height, etc.).
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and safety violations.
• Report and assist in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Support safety induction and toolbox talks for workers and subcontractors.
• Liaise with site supervisors and workers to promote HSE awareness and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with local authority, client, and international safety standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, etc.).
• Assist in emergency response drills and first aid coordination.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification is preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in HSE inspection.
• Strong understanding of local HSE laws and international safety standards.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
