The opportunity
This role is responsible for encompassing the performance of aftermarket services and support for the installed base as well as High Voltage Products (GIS LTB AIS GCB & Power Quality) maintenance services to our utility contractor for UAE and would involve performing preventive maintenance upgrades troubleshooting and warranty repairs on High Voltage Products as well as performing commissioning activities. It also involves the development and implementation of proactive services responsive to customer requirements. The position also includes coordination of investigations ofcustomer-reported issues and assistance to achieve equitable solutions for our customers.
How youll make an impact
- Strong knowledge of Power Quality Products & Service portfolios.
- Arrange and perform activities in shop floor/ Site related to quality checking of product/ Services incoming material quality Operation Service quality monitoring.
- Install commission and maintain power quality systems including filters capacitors and reactors.
- Analyze electrical systems to identify power quality issues and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with clients and engineering teams to design and execute commissioning plans. Conduct site assessments and troubleshoot power quality issues.
- Monitor and test electrical parameters such as voltage current and harmonics provide technical support to clients and internal teams document procedures findings and recommendations and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Elaboration of inspection and test plans and concepts during tenders and projects in the areas of Power Quality Solutions
- Conception preparation and execution of factory and site acceptance tests together with customer and supplier.
- Coordination of commissioning works inclusive take-over of responsibility for budget and time of all commissioning activities on site.
- Self-responsible supervision and management of suppliers and/or partners active leadership of commissioning activities on site in UAE continuous learning and development in all related technologies and arranging & sustaining a safe environment by implementing HSE requirements.
- Employees shall also carry out any tasks that are assigned by management necessary to fulfil the job requirements.
- Acts as voice of customer back into internal engineering and quality functions.
- Effectively manages multifunctional interfaces - internal feeder factories service department customers and sub suppliers.

- Works in a team as a professional service technician to install products and conduct repairs and maintenance of TFMC, and other brands, of equipment and maintaining assets of TFMC as per the Service Manual.
- Ensure that all equipment, service tooling, backup and spare parts etc are on location and ready to use and fit for function prior to the start of each job.
- Ensure that the field service reports and other associated reports are completed with all the required information, timing, part and serial numbers, type of equipment, issues faced, FNCR's etc.
- Maintains communication on a high level and on a daily basis with internal and external Company Representative on issues including job procedures, spare parts requirements, critical dimension measurements. Suggestions to improve on safety and or the operation, etc.
- Provides sales support through quality customer interface and handles customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Completes Field Non-Conformance Reports (E-FNCR) forms. Assures all equipment and procedural defects are communicated back to TFMC Service Coordinator.
- Proactively pursues safe work practices and complies with TechnipFMC Quality Management System requirements. Ensure smooth operations with a high focus on QHSE and enforce adhesion to TFMC code of ethics.
- Reports from a project execution perspective to the Service Project Manager on a daily basis and inform him directly in case business critical decisions have to be made, operational, customer or personnel wise and support a MOC.
- Act as an ambassador and identify opportunities for TFMC.
- Constantly strive for improvement of safety, knowledge, professionalism and customer success.
Must have:
- A. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/FORMAL EDUCATION: HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering or time served apprenticeship preferably in a mechanical, A formal technical and/or mechanical education (mechanic, hydraulics).
