Job Description
OVERALL, PURPOSE:
Perform audits by using standard audit methodologies and engagement approaches that are
in compliance with the all-audit procedures and standards.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1-Support the implementation of the Operations, Compliance & Performance Audit
strategy by performing audit activities in own field of expertise on time and on agreed
quality parameters.
2- Develop an understanding of Auditee’s policies, systems, processes, procedures, and
general business practices using appropriate audit methodologies and industry related
expertise, aligned with international practices.
3- Perform testing and carry out components of the audit program, as directed
independently based on defined audit programs.
4- Participate in specific projects related to own area of responsibility, allocated by role
holders with more experience and within set guidelines.
5-Conduct Operations, Compliance & Performance Audits for the Auditees in the
Industry Department to assess the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of the audit
procedures, and prepare audit documentation in accordance with required standards
and FAA Financial and Compliance Audit methodology.
Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1- Education:
A- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Business/Accounting
2-License/ Certification:
B- Professional certifications such as CIA and CPA are Preferred
3-Minimum Experience:
C 2-4 years of relevant experience

We are recruiting for a Senior Associate / Vice President level position in the EMEA M&A team with primary responsibility for M&A business in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region who will be based in Dubai.

In this role, you will have experience developing strong relationships with corporates and financial institution clients and working across different M&A transactions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the origination of M&A transactions in MENA including:
    • Client coverage of priority accounts from an M&A perspective in partnership with client executive bankers
    • Target deal origination analysis and strategy
    • Oversight of the preparation and delivery of M&A pitches and RfP responses
    • Day-to-day project leadership of M&A transactions
    • Management of transaction deal teams
    • Management of engagements process and liaison with internal support functions (legal, compliance, conflicts, etc.)
  • Support for the management of the bank's MENA franchise including:
    • Deal pipeline and business strategy for the region including liaison with the EMEA M&A business management team
    • Interacting with other M&A specialist areas (sell-side, defence, activism, EPP teams, etc.)
    • Partnership with equity, debt, and markets groups covering the region
    • Management of marketing materials and Dealogic league tables
    • M&A database oversight covering regulatory requirements from different jurisdictions as well as market trends and themes
    • Recruitment, mentoring, and training analysts and associates from the region

Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant M&A experience in the MENA region
  • Self-starter with the ability to confidently be the point person on a deal for clients, interacting and advising them on M&A process matters
  • Experience developing strong relationships and working across different products
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, client advisors, and key stakeholders in other lines of business
  • Team player able to build bridges and has the ability to connect with people
  • Experience in overseeing and training junior bankers
  • Arabic language skills would be beneficial but not required

    Location: Dubai
    Role Purpose:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and entrepreneurial Senior Investment Banker to lead the development and growth of our investment banking division. This is a unique opportunity to build a business from the ground up working closely with the CEO to define and execute a strategic roadmap with short medium and long-term objectives.

    The ideal candidate will have strong deal-making skills creativity and origination capabilities with a track record of sourcing and executing transactions across M&A private capital raising and strategic financial advisory. The role requires a hands-on approach leadership ability and deep industry relationships within the UAE and beyond.

    Key Accountabilities of the role

    Business Strategy & Development
    Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the investment banking division in collaboration with the CEO.
    Establish short medium and long-term objectives identifying key growth opportunities and market positioning.
    Build and lead a team of professionals as the business scales.

    Origination & Deal Execution
    Proactively originate and source transactions leveraging existing networks and developing new client relationships.
    Lead M&A advisory capital raising and strategic financial transactions from pitch to close.
    Structure and negotiate complex deals ensuring alignment with client objectives and firm strategy.
    Develop innovative and creative deal structures to unlock value for clients.

    Client & Market Engagement
    Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients investors and financial institutions.
    Provide strategic financial advice to clients identifying opportunities to create value.
    Represent the firm in industry events conferences and networking opportunities.

    Execution & Risk Management
    Oversee due diligence financial modeling valuation and structuring processes.
    Ensure transactions comply with regulatory requirements and firm risk parameters.
    Work cross-functionally with legal compliance and operations teams to execute transactions smoothly.

    Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:

    15 years of investment banking experience with a strong track record in M&A capital raising and advisory.

    Deep origination capabilities with a demonstrated ability to source and close transactions.

    Strong deal-making skills negotiation expertise and creativity in structuring transactions.

    Experience working in boutique or entrepreneurial investment banking environments is preferred.

    Established network of clients investors and financial institutions particularly in the UAE and broader Middle East.

    Proven ability to develop and execute business strategies in investment banking.

    Strong leadership skills capable of building and scaling a high-performance team.

    Excellent financial modeling valuation and strategic advisory skills.

    MBA CFA or other relevant qualifications are a plus
