Job Title: Registered Nurse
">The post holder will always work within the scope of practice, prioritizing the health, wellbeing and safety of their patients. They will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient needs to provide high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and offer advice and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Assess and identify patient needs, develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Collect and analyze patient data, determine actual and potential nursing diagnoses, and predict expected outcomes.
- Develop and evaluate patient care plans with the interprofessional team, incorporating patient and bystander input.
- Record vital signs, recognize abnormalities, and escalate as necessary.
- Maintain and update technical and clinical skills related to nursing practice.
- Employ strategies to promote patient health and a safe environment.
- Perform essential life support and prepare patients for medical examination and treatment.
- Hold an appropriate license to practice as a registered nurse, managing professional re-licensure and maintaining valid certifications.
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing degree.
- Manage own professional re-licensure.
- Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
- Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
