What You'll Do:

As a Senior Consultant, you'll be an accomplished and effective member of the Teneo Consulting team whose focus is on providing support to case Managers, Directors, and Managing Directors in the efficient delivery of cases, as well as managing smaller cases or discrete work streams within larger, more complex cases:

  • Provide delivery support on discrete workstreams or manage smaller cases directly with Manager, Director, or Managing Director support
  • Develop the answer from initial hypothesis through refinement and validation
  • Manage the case or workstream team on a day-to-day basis, delegating and planning workload whilst also providing coaching support
  • Work independently with minimal need for support
  • Handle day-to-day liaison with junior and mid-level client counterparts
  • Lead presentations confidently and engagingly when presenting output to the client
  • Support with business development activities
  • Build on client relationships and actively coach junior team members

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Arabic is an advantage
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience ideally within a Strategy or Management Consulting environment (other relevant fields may also be considered)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in any degree discipline
  • Excellent analytical skills and an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Highly logical and numerate
  • Evidence of teamwork, leadership, and ambition alongside relevant work experience
  • Capable of operating in a fast-paced environment with the ability to influence and challenge when needed
  • Able to create an immediate positive and credible impression
  • Strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail
  • Able to skilfully and confidently influence and negotiate while maintaining a positive relationship with all parties during difficult conversations

Engagement Managers are expected to work with Alton's senior team members to help clients solve their most complex commercial, operational, and financial challenges. Milliman's Dubai Health Practice is looking for a qualified health actuary with more than 8 years of experience, to fill a client facing role

Educational Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree pursuing actuarial science, mathematics, or another major with quantitative course work,
  • Must be a qualified actuary – registered as a Fellow of a recognized global actuarial body
  • Outstanding academic record
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
Experience And Skill Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of actuarial experience, with a substantial part of the experience in health-related work
  • Superior math aptitude and strong analytical ability
  • Experience with reserving and pricing techniques for health insurance products
  • Working knowledge of actuarial concepts specific to health systems, such as utilisation vs cost, clinical coding systems, Diagnosis-Related Groupers, value-based healthcare etc
  • Client facing experience, including drafting and reviewing of formal actuarial reports as well as presentation of technical content to senior stakeholders

As a people and organizational change advisor you will work with clients in delivering their HR and workforce transformation and organisational agendas and providing change management support with large scale business transformation. We require people who can build our service offerings understand client needs grow our internal capability and connect effectively across our global People Consulting and wider EY service lines to maximize our global knowledge and experience in supporting our clients people-related business challenges.

Your key responsibilities

You will be responsible for directing designing and implementing major change and people transformation programs across MENA related to large-scale business and HR transformations for clients in the financial services sector. You will also develop people and change management strategies and business cases with measurable objectives.

In this role you will work in diverse project teams together with colleagues from different service lines to address clients most complex issues and deliver full cycle large business transformation projects.

In addition to the above you are going to proactively manage senior client stakeholders including delivering difficult messages and managing performance issues up to Senior Management & create value for the client by demonstrating thought leadership bringing new insights and delivering service excellence. You will also manage and develop teams of consultants to deliver projects and pursuits in line with project plans and budgets.

Skills and attributes for success

You can succeed in this role if you are professional quickly establishing personal credibility and demonstrating expertise as well as having a strong personal impact and resilience & the ability to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for major changes and key decisions.

Taking a practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement as well as being able to analyse complex problems and deliver insightful practical and sustainable solutions is a skill you are expected to have for this role.

Furthermore being skilled in facilitating and encouraging collaboration amongst team members motivating teams to maximise performance while demonstrating confidence and effectiveness in recognising and managing potential issues during client assignments will contribute to your success for this opportunity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A bachelors degree in a relevant field (business psychology or organizational development); Masters preferred.
  • Strong insight and experience in working for and serving clients in the financial services sector such as banks and insurance companies.
  • At least 5 years of work experience with a proven track record of delivering large complex business transformation HR value chain projects or change management and culture change projects.
  • Be a subject matter expert in one or more of the following: HR transformation organization design talent management performance management rewards people aspects of change management whether operational transformation cultural change or technology driven change.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Prior work experience within a professional services or global consultancy firm.

Ideally youll also have

  • Experience working in large private and/or public sector organisations human resources functions.
  • Fluency in Arabic; both written and spoken.
